No biggie. He's been very disappointing.

Dustin Boyd

As per Bob McKenzie's Twitter:

"TSNBobMcKenzie
BOS puts Brian McGrattan on waivers. MTL puts Dustin Boyd on waivers."

http://twitter.com/#!/TSNBobMcKenzie

I really don't understand what Boyd has been doing so bad since the season started. He hasn't been great, but I don't see how he deserved to be waived.

The problem, is that we don't need another bottom 6 forward. We need somebody to put the puck in the back of the net.

Probably. Let's hope he can keep up with his preseason play, we need our 4th line to actually do something out there.

What were you expecting from him and he was also benched for a few games.Problem is we have too many players like him,our 3 and 4th line(besides Eller) are the exact same types of players

Better defensive game. He's very weak defensively.

He came back just in time to be on the ice for two Ottawa goals.

Well I guess,Pouliot played well on Friday could have been given another shot for more than 3-4 games.Martin needs to be a little more patient and if he doesn't wanna be than he needs to tell Gauthier to find him a top 6 forward

Yeah, me too. I feel he can be a very useful bottom six player given the chance.

Might be a fine player for the Dogs. Not expecting him to be claimed. Having said that, I wished we would have seen him in an offensive role. But his lack of strength was incredibly so obvious....

I want to not care about this, but i can't help but wonder why this guy never got a shot in the top 6. Like 1 game. At least.
