Game quotes via Joy of the PSB..
Robin Lehner
On the win: “It was really big. I needed a win. First win of the season for me, just to kind of get into it. My first game against Hershey, I had been sitting around for a couple of weeks, just kind of getting into it against a good team. It was kind of the same against Hamilton. It was a little bit better, but we couldn’t get the win. This was a good team win for us, against a solid team, too. I thought we stepped it up and played really well defensively. They helped me out a lot. I had a couple of hard shots, but most were from the outside. I had a lot of help.”
On the offense taking the pressure off him: “It helped out a lot. We got a couple of goals early in the game. If it’s a 1-1 game, every shot, the consequences of a goal would be a little bit more, so it helped me relax a little bit and just play solid and play calm.”
On Butler's night: “It was really nice. I’m roommates with Bobby, too, so I was really happy when he got it. He’s there, too, he’s trying to get the goal scoring together, too. He’s a really hard guy to take in practice, and I know that talking to him, he felt kind of rusty coming in, and I think this is a good start for him, to kind of get a goal in on a regular basis.”
On getting ready for Wednesday: “It’s all about preparation, I think. We have a lot of professional guys here that are going to do what we have to do, and I look forward to that game a lot. See if I play it or not, but I think it’s going to be a good game.”

Bobby Butler
On his hat trick: “It definitely felt good to come out strong, get that first one to get all the guys going at the beginning of the game, then put that second one in. Then, obviously, the third one is just kind of a cherry on top. We already had the win, the two points, so that’s all that matters, really.”
On Lehner's performance: “Robin is a great goaltender. He came down, he finally got back, so I think he really needed that. He’s a great kid, great goaltender. He was behind us; I think that is why we were so offensively tonight, because we knew that we had him back there saving pucks and just making sure the puck stayed out of the net.”
On how comfortable the team felt: “I think we played so offensive because he knows that if we get one goal, I think he can steal a game for us. Even though we got five, I think he’s the kind of goalie where if he comes out he can win a game by himself. But I think we played well offensively, he played great in net, and our defense played awesome, so it was just overall a great game.”
On the offense (12 goals in two nights): “I think coming together offensively and two big wins, so I think that definitely helps out our confidence out there. We’re just playing well right now, we just have to keep playing every game, game in and game out.”
On playing Wednesday: “I think it’s definitely a good momentum keeper. I think just coming to the rink and playing a game, there’s nothing wrong with that. I think too many practices may get a little boring, but I think with this month, especially, we have a game almost every other day, I think that definitely helps, especially if we keep playing the way we’re playing and just keep the momentum building up until Christmas.”
On getting three and O'Brien getting two: “I think it’s just good that we’re putting the puck in the net. I think it just gets the guys going, they like to see that, obviously. But as long as we’re winning, no one really cares who puts the puck in the net, as long as we’re on the winning end of the game.”
On getting two straight wins at home: “That’s something we talked about before the weekend started, at home. I think there’s a certain way you need to play at this rink, and I think we played that this weekend. I think it definitely was a confidence builder. I think we proved that the last two nights, and hopefully we continue to play like that at home, especially in this barn.”
