Easily one of the top three concerts I've ever been too. Probably my favorite...

Edit - Wanted to post a picture of Boardwalk Hall for those who haven't been, really cool venue. Reminded me a lot of the spectrum. Neither of those videos really show the venue. This was from the 10/30 show.

Thanks for the heads up. Work schedule would not permit that unfortunately, though in my high school days I might have tried to go to the show and worked the next morning with out sleeping. 26 is not supposed to feel this old.

Ain't it beautiful? Totally blew my mind when I first heard it (a coworker introduced me to it today). I was like, "wow, so this is what sex to my ears feels like." When you think about it, this genre of music totally makes sense. It's just a fusion of dance music from different generations, and the result is pure awesomeness. I can't get enough.

That kid cutting up his mom's chartreuse shag carpet from 1978 in his wood paneled basement has a certain charm to it too. Doesn't hurt things.

Since it is the what are we listening to thread, and I am pretty excited about this, I'm posting what I will be listening to in three short days....

The best professional DJ headphones you can get for under $300US, in my estimation.

Respeck!

This one is for GKJ, who has shown an appreciation for cheesy dance music (not unlike myself), and loves Off with Your Head by the YYY's.

Quick google-search tells me that this guy is from my hometown...

Never heard of him but the fact that I find out about him through a hockey forum of a league on another continent is pretty hilarious to me.

Yeah, that's really crazy. I'd have figured you'd heard of him... I mean, he's gotta be pretty big in Linz, right? His music is ****ing brilliant.

Here's a few more for those of you who liked the first Parov Stelar clip I posted...

No, not heard of him. Well, I'm not into the whole electronic/lounge scene, but still surprising I guess. Asked some of my friends, most of them have never heard of him either. Just one knew him and he is a big fan of that music style.

So, I'd say he's far from being big here (in a sense that he is a hallmark of culture in Linz and that everyone has at least heard of him), which is a shame because his music really is ****ing brilliant.

Well, I guess most people here are too busy to listen to **** like that:

How long do you manage to watch it?

Just saw Primus at the Tower, pulled off 3rd row from ticket sales somehow. Been on a kick since then.
