I agree with you guys on this point. And, btw, I think the same is true of Ziggy Palffy. Sometimes smallish players who are not very physical get the rap of being "soft." But, often those guys have a quite toughness about them. Visnovsky never shies away from traffic.

Yeah that's true. From the LA games I saw last year he was really tough. In one game he took a puck to the face and missed a shift and game back like nothing happened.

Simply being able to take hits doesnt make you 'physical'.

Kings fans are very happy to have him! Enough said. Now if we can just get Dennis G. to pull his head out of his ass and play like we all know he can, then we got our selves and good group. Including Gleason of course. Nordstrom-Miller-Vis-Gleason-Grebs. I'm happy!

the king's trainer said something like lubo has the highest tolerance for pain he has ever seen. not bad for a small guy. although he still seems extremely injury prone.

Lubo is not big and mean...but he's still physical in that he uses whatever size he has very well...true he gets out-muscled at times, but more often than not, you will see him putting a body on ppl and tying them up very well...last year lubo became a solid 2-way D man, and became the kings best Dman overall...before his pinched nerve (or concussion...i forgot), he was logging 27 min a game (although the King's injuries, and pp/pk time played a role).

but there's no question his value comes from his skating, puck moving, and most of all, his lasers from the point. they're like rockets that are barely visible, yet always picks a corner with precision
