White was 33.

Backstrom is 21, he is only getting better.

He is comparable to Forsberg at his age. I'll take that and run.

Backstrom is signed at 6.9 mil a year for 10 years, which is an absolute steal for the type of player he is and will continue to be.

Yeah, the only player on the Rangers who I wouldnt trade for Bakcstrom is Hank. He is a generational talent. The Caps have 2 of them. Backstrom and Ovie.

I could've sworn White played with Little and Kozlov to make the Little White Russian line. Correct me if I'm wrong, though.

Don't want to start a "thing"...but that's actually the correct Russian pronunciation. The "chuk" (as in "throw") is the Anglicized way of pronouncing it. But Kovy apparently prefers that as it is what N.Americans are used to hearing with E.European names...I always do a double-take when I hear the 'chook', though, it does just sound a little off...

Anyway...hoping for a win tonite...the last one was way too frustrating to watch

My friend just offered me a free ticket to this game I declined on the premise I don't want to go just to see the Caps poo poo all over the Garden.

Lucky for him he and his family are mostly Flyers' fans, so it will probably be enjoyable for them.

I don't get why people turn down free tickets. It's FREE.

Now that you turned it down, I bet they win 7-2, just to spite you.

Notice how many times OV is in there. I counted at least 7. It's like OV seeks him out and just can never take him out.
I'd rather Girardi on AO, so we can see Semin try to cat fight Staal while Staal laughs at him.

Ovechkin plays LW, so he'll be running into Girardi, Rozsival, Sauer more often than Staal, Del Zotto, Eminger.

Staal and Girardi will be put together, IMO.

I live an hour and 1/2 away, so I still have to get there, and I would probably buy my friend a beer or two for the gesture, so it wouldn't be as free as it sounds.

I hope you are right though, and I watch them own the CAps from the comfort of my loveseat.

He'll be attacking their side of the ice, is what I mean.

RD matches against LW on the rush, which actually plays to our advantage because despite no Staal, our RD core is more solid defensively than our LD.
