we lost for 2 reasons

1. our powerplay is abysmal

2. the refs were abysmal

Let's put in a petition for the Rangers to play all 82 games on the road next season.

Calm down...this team is .500 without our top two point producers AND our captain.

Considering where all the "experts" have us finishing...that's pretty good if you ask me...

It's amazing that a team that was lucky enough to draft Ovechkin, Green, Semin and Backstrom still gets ****ing lucky on top of that.

This team never gets a bounce their way. They battled hard all game, expect for the last 2 minutes, which were a disgrace.

Go F yourself Beninati...little pip squeak. He acts like you watch the game just to hear him do his shtick.

I said this jokingly after every loss on Facebook.

I'm dead serious now.

Seeing our blue jerseys/msg center ice logo/etc. disgusts me.

Instant loss.

That no goal hurts.

The Caps phantom PP hurts, too.

That being said, lots of goods and bads tonight. One of the most disappointing for me? That play that led to the Knuble goal by Hank. He gifted that to them.

I have no problem bashing the refs, but the loss was due to poor coaching and lack of follow through. they just throw the puck in the zone in the last minute and the caps keep clearing, maybe try and skate it in? Maybe have a play torts? I am tired of torts getting love for this hard working team, his "coaching" is pathetic.

It is also time for Lundqvist to work on standing up a bit more, the word is out shoot high, there was no reason for him to be on his knees before the pass from behind the net isn't even there yet. He used to be good for no more than 3 goals a night, now thats a good night with him plus his usual softie a game.

Nothing has changed, just another year of trying to stay close to 500 and losing to better teams.

Yeah it is pretty ridiculous that he was calling this game...

at least when Doc calls Devils game on Versus he is for the most part right down the middle..

I can't believe you guys are all acting surprised. They're playing the best team in the league without 3 of their best players. We weren't gonna win. We should have some easy ones against Buffalo and Edmonton on Thursday and Sunday. Let's hope we can get the easier points.

That dump in by Del Zotto was an absolute bonehead play. Straight at a corner is easy pickens for a dman.

We played a good game, sucks that we lost. Please get back soon, Gaborik and Drury.

Maybe Brooks can ask Torts about the powerplay's part in these losses after the game...in a nice polite voice, of course.

And remember, having Gaborik back doesn't necessarily improve, though it can't be worse.

The Darlings of the NHL (along with Pitt) got all the calls that was needed to score some goals. We deserved that game but it was taken away from us
