You took the words out of my mouth and I don't think that Jones will be willing to relinquish the GM responsibilities that a guy like Gruden may demand.

I like Gruden.

I hope to God he does not go to the Cowboys.

I really wish sports media in general would get off of the Giants jockstrap already. Class of the NFC my ass.

Have they checked who they've played? Yes, they're 6-2. But look at that schedule.

Wins: Carolina, Chicago, Houston, Dallas, Detroit, and Seattle.
Losses: Indy, Tennessee. Both were rapage.

For the rest of the year the G-bags get Dallas again, us twice, the Skins twice, Minnesota, Jacksonville, and Green Bay. They could easily finish 12-4 or 13-3. They just don't strike me as a team that good. They're a 9-7 or 10-6 team lucking out with who they play this year.

Yeah, I know we have pretty much the same schedule, but we've beaten some contenders. We're off by a game, but we have some good wins in Indy and Atlanta. The NYG have no "feather in the cap" wins, and won't unless they beat either us or GB at the end of the year. I can see GB beating them, and I can definitely see us sweeping them if we can stay healthy.

It really just seemed like everyone woke up and saw the 6-2 record, saw they were winning by a lot each game, and failed to realize they've had 4 weeks of beating up on the dregs of the NFL.

The eagles have always had problems with the giants pass rush. I'm not really counting on that to improve this year.

And while I agree with you to a certain point that the giants might be overhyped a bit, I think you underestimate them to a certain degree.

As a person who hates to say this because I think starting Kolb is the prudent long term choice, Vick is ideally suited to beat a team who's pas rush the Eagles cannot handle.

RT @Adam_Schefter: ESPN NFL Insider Michael Smith reports the Washington Redskins and QB Donovan McNabb have agreed to 5 yrs, $78 million extension.

RT @DownGoesBrown: Breaking: Official announcement of Donovan McNabb extension has been delayed, as he became winded while attempting to sign it.

What a joke (and I don't mean the DGB tweet). After benching him, they give him a huge contract? What has he shown there in his brief starts to make them confident in his ability to succeed there? LOLSKINS.

Can I get a volunteer, when it is appropriate, to start a new thread?

This will be shut once it gets to 1,000 or maybe halftime.
