If you guys want Niemi, honestly just throw a prospect/ pick in there instead of fluery, and take out Seto.

Hell no. I wouldn't trade Niemi for Fleury. We went cheap in net for a reason- so we could keep our quality forwards and add to the defense. The adding to the defense part hasn't happened yet, but adding Fleury, at the expense of Setoguchi would be retarded.

The only piece in Pittsburgh that would get me interested in moving Setoguchi is Letang or Michalek. And to be honest, we could probably get a close enough equivalent to Michalek for our 1st or by waiting for free agency, so that may be preferable to giving up a young 2nd line winger (of which we have virtually none in developing), who may have the upside of a first line complimentary forward.

That wouldn't land you anything close to Letang.

And most Pens fans don't want to trade Fleury. He's struggling, but he led us to cup finals in back to back years. We'll wait for him to regain his form again rather than take Niemi.

I would be very worried if he was this bad at the end of the season. He may possibly be even worse next season...but there is still tons of time to turn his game around. A little confidence helps.

Doubt anyone will take Fleury given the money he makes and the season he's having. Pens also wouldn't have a long-term answer in goal if they trade Fleury since Niemi is on a 1 year deal, Johnson is just a 33 yr/old journeyman and they don't have a good goalie prospect. Pens better option is to try and get Fleury on track and go from there.

I'd probably trade a D-Man like Goligoski or Despres + for Seto. Whichever of those SJ prefers.

I can't speak in the name of all Sharks fans, but for me Goligoski alone would get you Seto.
