Had two trade offers proposed to me in a keeper league yesterday; And I stress, keeper league...
My Duchene for his Bertuzzi
My Eberle for his Olli Jokinen
I can understand some fantasy players are probably new to the game so I didn't bite their heads off when I rejected the offers, but a bigger part of me wondered whether they were simply trying to take advantage of someone they thought might now know what they're doing.
Also, I've now got a killer goalie crisis that'll probably see me forfeiting goalie categories until Anderson returns. Urgh.
Once Leclaire comes back I would think Elliot wouldn't be very valuable.
I wouldn't be so sure.
Now that Anderson's out, I grabbed Budaj, but I'm not counting on much more than hitting my minimum starts requirement. Teamed with Chris Mason and Bernier, and of course Niemi, my goaltending is currently an absolute **** show.
Gotta give to get. At least you have a regular starter now. Raask has been **** on by Thomas, Pavelec almost died, and Bryz has been human. I'm starting to consider trading Ovie in a package for a legit #1.

Who's worth it though? Is Thomas back to form, or just hot right now? Do you believe enough in Quick or Halak?
Not gonna vote against it, but just wondering why you would want to do that one? I think at best it's lateral for you, and a potential steal for Chariot. I'd stick with Niemi, but if not, wouldn't give up Kane in a deal to marginally improve G.

Without a #1 goaltender, I had to throw caution to the wind and take a chance that MAF gets it together. He's got a better chance of doing that than Niemi IMO and he's facing much weaker competition for the job.

Thats the thing. Thomas is on the wrong side of 30 and has to slow down. Halak is the real deal, but the Blues are suffering some injury problems right now. Is Quick's success a product of his team or his play? Too may questions right now, but definitely thinking about a move.
aww I enjoyed a week of first place in Champs league, and two weeks of top 3. Looks like my No-move-strategy isnt working anymore. Maybe it's time to shake things up
1st/2nd place in 7 of 8 leagues and a mediocre 6th in the 8th.
Fantasy has been good to me the 1st quarter, but Stewart just went down whom I have on about 4 teams, so that's not good.

So far I'm super happy with my team's offense. I'm pretty sure I want to marry Byfuglien and Hejduk. I'm worried about goaltending though--I'm praying that Nittymaki keeps it up and Elliot gets more consistent.
