Time to re-unite line

OK time to reunite ak47,pleks and cammy. They have the best chemistry when together. I find that Martin changes lines much too often and doesn`t give linemates enough time to get use to playing together. I did agree with breaking this line up for a game or two but it`s time to put these guys back together where they belong......What do others think ?

I agree that this season he does it way too much. It's why I hated Carb and one of the reasons I liked Martin is because he didn't do this so often last year.

This year it's driving me nuts.

Yes that would be great ! If he`d leave them together for more than 3 periods.....Maybe Eller with Kost and Pleks.

Time to shoot more puck to the net. I start sleeping a few games, but now I wake up and try to score more goals to the net.

JM was to dumb break up the only line that was on fire.
The top line and the PHD line should remain in tact.
Play with the other 2 lines to get them going.

Eller-Plekanec-AK
Cammy-Gomez-Gionta

this should be done. Im sure it will work. Plekanec would be a great mentor for Eller.

Martin doesn't seem to keen at the thought of putting Eller in top 6.
To be honest, if our PP issues persist, I see Eller being scratched, Weber called up, Martin dressing 7 Dmen and use him as a 4th liner/Point shot on PP like he did with MAB last year at times.

I'm sure something of the sort will happen.

That's the last resort it would seem. Load up a line. Cammy would add badly needed creativity to GG, while Eller and Pleks would be a nice combo. Not sure if Eller is ready tho.

As much as it irritates me how JM has juggled the lines, I can understand why he is doing it. He is trying to spread the talent throughout the lines so that the opposition has a harder time with coverage. So I'm going to sit on the fence for a while on this one. Unless we raelly get dinged tonight.

Man o man all 4 lines were cookin` tonight. I sure hope it continues....

I think Boyd is a better player than Pyatt so i`m confused as to why they let him go instead of Pyatt.

I think Eller showed tonight that he`s ready to take Lapps` place on that second line.

I think we should take a look around the league at how often lines get juggled especially when goals are scarce. Nevertheless, I dont think Martin has been switching things excessively at all, keeping in mind that Martin believes primarily in strong duos.

Cammy and Pleks have been kept together virtually all season. The one duo that did break apart was Gomez and Gionta, and i think he mas more than patient with them before breaking it.

Halpern and Darche go way back and this duo has been quite stable.

I wont bother going into the 4th line because these are normally volatile lines throughout the league

definitely would like to see A.Kost back with Pleks... given the kids history, and his great start, I think it was idiotic to move him around in an attempt to get Gomez going. Now he's 0-for-November, and it's only a matter of time before people start talking, confidence starts slipping, and the positive momentum of the start of the season disappears (not trying to be a negative nancy, but let's face it, this team really needs A.Kost to live up to expectations).

on the positive side, A.Kost still looks great out there, even if Gomez is still struggling.

Seeing how well Pouliot has been playing, and that Gionta's got a little bit of mojo going, I'd like to see Martin go back to the top 6 lines we started the season with:

Cammy-Pleks-A.kost
Pouliot-Gomez-Gionta

then I'd put Boyd with Halpern/Darche, and Moen/Eller/Pyatt-Lapierre to round out the bottom 6.

id go:

AK - Gomer - Gionta
Cammy - Pleks - Eller (Cammy would be on a like with two "passers")

Last game Akost had a perfect pass from gomez but missed wide on a good chance to score. Don't fix something that ain't broken. We just beat two legitimate stanley cup contenders convincingly with the same line up. Role with it for a bit.

I wouldn't mind to not reform the old lines, actually. I would like to see a little variety. Maybe replace Gomez by Eller with Andrei K and Lappy for example. Three young guys with a good size.

I'm inclined to agree with this statement. I didn't see the Vancouver game, but judging from the Bruins game last night all 4 lines were involved in playing a shutdown game while going on the offence really well. It was an impressive performance.

Well i got to agree with Martin,he`s got all 4 lines playing well. I don`t think Lapps has the skill that Eller has but time will tell.

No!

I love both our top 6 lines right now! The A.Kost-Gomez-Lappierre plays better and better every game. I love the intensity and forecheck Laps brings on the line and Andrei has more then enough room to play his game.

Martin tried everything tonight except putting this line back together. I find that hard to believe. What does he have to lose ? AK47 was soo hot and now sooo cold without Cammy and Pleks. Surely Eller proved tonight that he blongs on a much better line like with Gomez and Gionta. Lapps just doesn`t have the skill.

Or we could just try Eller with Kostitsyn and Pouliot and try and get a real 2nd line going again.

Not bad, I like it. Gotta get Eller involved. I like the way he goes to the net. He will score if he keeps playing like that.........And Martin puts the poor kid on the ice.
