I was a kid when the Flyers came to be, but we didn't get a lot of Flyers coverage until the playoffs back then (unless they were playing the friggen' Leafs). Come to think of it, not much has changed there, for people without Centre Ice!

But I very clearly remember the early 70's teams!

I am 20. But my parents are both moderate fans b.c. of me, and they both watched a lot more back in the days of the bullies. I enjoy hearing you older fans talking about it too, cos it's the closest Im going to come to being there. So keep it up

42, my first sports memories were of the Flyers winning those cups and all the excitement it created, hockeys been my fav sport ever since. Hero's growing up were Schmidt, Carlton and Bergey but Clarkie was number 1 by a mile.

21 Flyers fan from the first day i could skate/walk... and im breeding the next generation with my 2 (soon to be 3) year old son who can sucesfully say and point out 3/4 of the team.... Boucher is his favorite.. along with Lappy, Carcillo, Carter, Richards, Briere, Gange, Pronger, Bartulis, & Bobrovsky... He says he wants to be a goalie... i bought him the mini mylec net and found cheap goalie pads (foam) that fit him and he plays hockey around the house all the time

I am 21, I threw a hip check at the obstetrician upon exit so my parents deemed me a Flyers fan.

That's pretty funny. Glad to finally give you that opportunity.

Even though it's kinda off topic, I'll tell you what's really weird though, age wise for me. I was in 3rd grade when 9/11 happened, and I remember everyone being pulled out of school and being told what had happened that day. However, I was talking about this in my AP European History class, which is filled with Seniors, Juniors, and Sophomores, and we realized that the Juniors and Sophomores couldn't remember anything really about that day, even though they were only a year younger than us.

Boy do I remember that day, got pulled out of that class. When my Dad came home (works up in Northern NJ), he said the bridge he crosses everyday, Driscoll, was filled with Ash and Smoke and impossible to see across, what a terrible day.

On a side note, does anyone have a youtube video of that Flyers/Rangers 9-11 related game?

43. Got hooked watching Philly beat Buffalo for the cup. I had a Bernie Parent poster over my bed until my two older brothers decided to rip pieces off of it day by day until nothing was left. Then recently I got a Brian Mcfarlane action figure of Bernie Parent with the orange jersey. I feel whole again.

First Flyer memory... Jean Guy Gendron, Andre Lacroix and Simon Nolet Quebec Connection line.
The St Louis Blues destroying the Flyers physically in the play offs. Still hate the Plagers.
And Ed Snider vowing "never again" and the birth of the Bullies (well several years later).
So far I am the oldest, Class of 74 Prep School.
