Wow go read the Bruins GDT....you will laugh your ass off. They are blaming their loss on not being healthy. Hell, we are never healthy when we play the Bruins.

Humm... non-partial ? If Markov actually played a bad game, I would agree with you, but he was rock solid all game long except on the Boston goal... btw, so was Gorges who made a brutal giveaway a few seconds earlier... I don't see you and your non-partial reflexion pointing out that Gorges "has to pick up his game"...

They are right... they are missing their top 2 centres and just played a game last night while we were well rested...

Make no mistake guys. That was a very very good Boston Bruins team the Habs beat tonight in Boston, I might add. Habs defence is looking really good right now. Goals against is best in the league. Gomez, Gionta, and Cammalleri figuring in the offense was a bonus tonight. (Subban too). Beating Vancouver (another very good team) the other night was also quite the accomplishment. I like what I'm seeing.

Tonight, Montreal won because Guy Boucher....errr...Jacques Martin's system was too much pressure for the Booins.

In case some of you haven't noticed, Montreal is playing a high pressure system, a la Boucher. No more passive trapping. Even Peeair noticed it tonight and repeated it often.

I knew as soon as Gomez got a point that people would start giving him praise. The fact is, he played no different tonight than he has been playing the last 4-5 games (this is not a knock on Gomez because I didn't think he was playing nearly as bad as people made it out to be, had his wingers actually potted some simple goals he'd easily have 5-6 points more). It's amazing how one lousy point changes people's perceptions of a player especially when that player hasn't played much different.

Case in point, the Bruins goal.

Not saying he's playing bad, just not his usual self. I'll give him a few weeks though, still early and knee injuries aren't the easiest to recover from, both mentally and physically.
Consider the players Markov is matched up against. Either Markov-Gorges or Hamrlik-Spacek are out against the other team's top lines while Pearn/Martin have been really protecting Gill-Subban with easier minutes since the pairings were set that way.

I agree, they have a very potent group of forwards. It's on the blue line that I find major weaknesses. Chara and...?

Chara wasn't very scarey....he was skated around all night. Everytime he was on the ice we had great chances to score, same as the year before and the year before that. The guy is overrated...I don't care what people say. He's like a extended version of Hall Gill.

And they don't have anybody else. They need major puck movers. This is where Philly is better than Boston.

Nice to see the Habs step up when the media and some fans were doubting them with a hard week coming up. Beating the Canucks and Bruins in the same week is a great feat, nice to see.

Price is showing he is coming into his own.

I hope Pouliot stays a third liner for a long time, that's the way he'll learn about work ethic.

The bruins played back to back games, and I think montreal got stronger as the b's legs faded. You could sense that the habs took the game over in the 3rd.

I love the ability of this team to not get phased by physical forechecking by big bodies. We saw it last season and it continues this year. At the end of the night, it was actually boston who wore down from up tempo skating.

Of course, Price was stellar again... but he was required less and less as the game progressed.

Markov also looks to be getting very close to top form.

They have also played three less games than we have so they should be well rested as well. What they were really missing was Thomas!!

When they get their players back they will have serious cap issues so they will lose other players. We'll see what happens when it happens but their success so far has been on Thomas...the guy they wanted to run out of town. He's the only reason they are where they are in the standings. How could your PK not be #1 when the goalie has a ridiculously low GAA?

If Thomas continues they are a threat if not they are not what we are seeing right now. The are getting too much credit right now for the goalie's accomplishments.

Exactly what I said earlier. These guys got alot of time off. If they are out of gas after two back to back games, then they aren't a threat to anyone. Overated and have a ton of cap issues. The Ryder and Thomas contracts are out of this world. Thats alot of cap space for two pluggers.

Our PP has woken up.

Our PK is absolutely disgusting.

I'm loving it.
I was disappointed by Dustin Boyd. He showed me nothing tonight.

What are you talking about? He showed us that him in the pressbox is best for the team.
