Better than signing Bill Guerin I guess, would rather see a kid brought up instead of signing Satan though.

Interesting idea. Never hurts to have top 6 depth come playoff time. Not my kind of player, but he might decide to put in a year of work for a future contract.

We already have a speed advantage on most teams and we have puck movers. I guess adding a scorer isn't a bad idea since teams will be collapsing against us come playoff time.

I wouldn't mind seeing us bring in someone to deal with Pronger and Chara come playoffs.

Fingers crossed that we can steal Byfuglien or someone like that (ya right).

You know - the thread title is an invitation to jokes.

Who knows, a cheap one year deal, for depth... maybe. Or maybe its just Walsh who tried to offer his client, got refused and now is trying to stir some pression to influence the Habs management.

Isn't that what he did with the bruins last year? And still, nobody signed him. Not sure if he's a martin kind of player, but i probably don't know enough about him to judge.

Satan is serviceable, but I'd rather not go that route.

He's a 38 year old vet, so yes! He's Coach Martin's kind of guy.

I am just Meh about Miro. He has some talent and fit in well in bostons defensive system, but he can just be so damn frustrating at times. But at some point we need an answer to play with G-Unit.

God no. For years already. White, Maxwell, Desharmais, Palushaj and Pacioretti would any one of them be a better guy to try in the lineup than Satan. Anyway, I think both Pouliot and AKost have delivered everything and more that I could have expected from them.

The org does not need to bring in a dead-weight has-been to fill a forward roster slot. If you want a power-play specialist, Desharmais has unbelievable skills.

I'd almost rather have Guerin as he can at least be the big body on the PP. But to be honest the only vet UFA I want is Nolan, I wouldn't mind either Satan or Guerin but I'd rather stand pat with what we have and maybe call up White/Palushaj.
