From your location I take it we're both John LeClair fans.

I'm 23, but the scariest thing I'm finding out while reading this is just how many of us are products of the 1997 season.

I am as well.

22 , My younger brother was a Flyers fan before me. He got me to watch some games and instantly I fell in love with the Flyers and Gagne became my favorite player.

Just turned 30 three weeks ago here. Started playing roller hockey at 13, our first ice rink wasn't built yet, and fell in love with the physical style of Eric Lindros as I started to learn and watch the sport.

Prison Mike?

The game I thought was the Sittler-Clarke incident in which Propp got involved.

40 ... my first season of memories was my first season in NJ, 1973-74. Still have my Stanley Cup Champions shirt that my dad bought me (oversized so it would fit for years, wore it until I was 7). My first game was a Flyers-Rangers preseason game. It was a near-bloodbath, the Spectrum shook, I cried in fear, and was hooked for life. The "7" in Murphy7 is for Bill Barber, my all-time favorite Flyer.

Myhre was my favorite goalie at that time. He made one of the best saves I ever saw 2 on 0, came across and stacked the pads on the guy. I always tried to emmulate that save whenever there was a breakaway against me.
