Becoming a usual story for this player! These types of players can never truly be recognized as great because they get injured just when you need them most, ie: Gaborik, Havlat.....now Markov. I really hope hes OK.
Also....people CANNOT add the accidental cut he suffered as a reason that he's injury prone. The only thing I would say as far as Markov is concerned is trying to protect himself better. But mostly, it's a whole lot of bad luck.
People don't seem to realize that even if it's not THE GREAT Markov, it still means that everyboyd plays their role and the minutes they can give.
Why the heck do you think that Spacek plays better now? Markov injury is bad 'cause you lose Markov AND you ask players that CAN'T replace him to do so.....And you add Picard to the lineup....
People also don't realize that it takes more than 6 games to be back in game shape after missing training camp and pre-season, he was slowly looking better and better... and like you said guys like Spacek were looking better because their ice time is decreasing.
Martin: "Andrei a été blessé au bas du corps et on va l'evaluer dans les prochains jours."
Thanks for the insight coach boring.
I just saw the replay of him being carried off the ice and he looked long and hard into the crowd as he was skating off the ice with a look of despair in his eyes, as if he was doing something that he wouldn't be able to do in a long time. I'm not feeling good about this one.
