Remaking 'Bad Romance' into 'Sergei Bobrovsky' only works if someone does the entire song.

Well I'm biased towards Bob...so I have to downplay Nitty besides if he had played more than a dozen games I would give him more credit ...

I'm slightly annoyed they didn't even bother reviewing Stillman's goal. Maybe it doesn't get overturned, but I thought it was at least enough to warrant a second look.

I wouldn't worry. Bobrovsky probably has post-game swelling every time he meets some skank after a win.

Gotta love the way those three pad their stats in blow outs vs. crappy teams on back to backs.

Looks like I missed a fun one. Giroux, Richards, Leino and Kimmo all with 2 points. Fun Times.

I didn't see most of the game, but we won 5-2 with both of Florida's goals either being controversial (the first one) or being a late game non-factor (the second one).

Do you really need the Bad and Ugly parts (if there are any)?

No disrespect to bobrovsky at all but I would bet any of those guys would be playing very well behind that defense.

It was scary how bad the Flyers just torched that team tonight. The walked in on the goalie 10 times - made them look bad.

For the sake of it, I saw this post on the Bob facebook page.

Quote:
From the Philadelphia Inquire: "Sergei Bobrovsky, the Flyers' unflappable Russian goalie, is starting to
pick up English. When Flyers public-relations manager Joe Siville asked
him, "What's up?" Bobrovsky replied, "Not much. Just chillin'."
I love this kid.

Just watching the highlights, couldn't believed how much the Panthers' commentators struggled with Bob's name.

Bro-bob-sky? Boe-brav-sky?

Great to have another dominating win. I'm starting to think that Giroux really is capable of piling up goals at a fast rate if he can convert on breakaways with ease.

Did they review our 4th goal? NHL highlights didn't show any additional angles, but I didn't see when it actually crossed the line and the net looked like it went up and down a bit.

I guess they have the same problem with Dubinsky, Jovanovski, Korpikoski etc

They did review it. It was just really quick.

Our talent level is unbelievable this year and Bob's standing on his head most nights. Not overworked but making spectacular saves when he has to and impressing everyone who sees him along the way.
Couple of things I noticed tonight...Zherdev throwing his body around and in general the way the boys have ramped up their physical game. I'm also noticing a bigger gap in the neutral zone, granted Florida isn't a "kill you with the forecheck kind of team." Opposing defensemen are respecting the speed and aggressiveness that comes with Lavi's system and as of now it looks like everyone's buying in. It's making breakouts and desperation clears much easier for our blue line.

Zherdev looked very good, even away from the puck.

He didn't practice today but had an MRI. Awaiting results.

I'm going to assume JVR will be in.

Twitter tells me that Holmgren said that the MRI was negative, and they'll see how Nödl will do tomorrow. At the moment he's listed as day-to-day.

Which usually means he's out for 2 months.

there was no way that Stillman goal should of counted.
At first look it looked like the 4th goal was Richards goal.
Good to see them beat these teams they should beat. especially on home ice.
