Hello Flyers fans ! Sorry if a thread already been made about it, but i wandered if Bobrovsky would still be the #1 when Leighton will be back from his injury?
Some dude who was your #1 goalie at the start of the season !
Still no clue???
Our number 1 goalie has been Bob?
I have some vague recollection of a goalie with a similar name ...it rhymed with Hatin' and it stemmed from a bad goal he gave up but I have a bit of amnesia from trauma I suffered in the spring.
Seriously, no one knows. I would say 90% of fans want Bob to continue on as the starter, and 10% were deluded into thinking Leighton actually has talent. Of course, their only argument when presented with facts was "the team just wins with him!" Now that Bob allows them to do that and take care of things offensively without worrying, it has to be his job to lose.
Optimally, Boosh/Leighton would need to battle it out for the backup spot. However, I'm not sure we'll keep both on the roster long enough for that to happen.
The suspicious part of my brain sees Boucher's latest praise for Bob as a strategic move to indicate that he (Boucher) would be a good #2 because he knows his place, rather than losing his seat on the bench to Leighton. But that's just my little conspiracy theorist working overtime.

im of the opinion that bob will be sent down and boosh and leighton will contend for the backup spot over say 10 games after which one of them will be waived and bobrovski recalled.
I don't hate Leighton, but to be honest, as a person and how things are staking out for him, I'd rather have Boosh. Seriously, probably one of the great guys on the team and competes probably way more than Leighton.
But in the end, Bob has the #1 position.

Boosh would want a trade to make sure he didn't end up in the AHL again. He's good enough to be in the NHL, he shouldn't be down there at all.
