Yeah, making our starter from last year play as our starter again for a couple of weeks so our rookie goalie with a career high of 35ish games played can get some rest is such an insane idea. I must be insane.

I dont see what making Leighton the starter for a few weeks is going to accomplish. I think they should give him more games off then they are right now but starting a different goalie for a couple of weeks while Bobrovsky is so hot?

MSE is there any chance that you can add these two links for the webstream bit. So many people ask for them without looking first.

I don't think you can make leighton or give him the starter job right away after what bob is doing right now. Ride the hot hand for a bit and keep a close eye on bob to see any wear and tear.

I can post it near the top of the front page as you have requested.
I'll try to include those two in future threads.

hey guys, Vs just showed how great the Flyers centers are. They showed the stats of Giroux, Briere and Richards. I thought Carter was a center?

He's been on the wing mainly this season, though he's played center when it was needed.

Hasn't he been a center throughout his career though? Either way, what an embarrassment of riches. Reminds me of Buffalo a few years ago.

Yes, he played center almost exclusively in the past but with Briere, Richards and Giroux this season, he was shifted. He was on a line with Richards at one point.

Yup, they've been trying him on right wing for most of this season. He's been a bit better lately but it's not a natural position for him.

Go it. Thanks. I'm on the Flyers bandwagon this year. Love the way they play.
