Tonight everyone played on the PK except Lapierre, even Kostitsyn with 2:19

That is all.

(Someone with better Photoshop skills will no doubt come up with something better. With Photoshop. Rather than, well, Paint.)

I'd feel a bit better if play had been more even in the second -- but sometimes your goalie just has to steal one.

Brutal reffing tonight. They let it get out of hand by non calls on 3 flagrant dangerous plays. The hit on Halpern, the blindside on Gio and the back hit by Richards on Kostitsyn. The goonery at the end was laughable but really, the NHL should look at that kind of thing and fine Laviolette. We were there to play hockey, they wanted to send some sort of message... the message should be to them from the league... stop being goons. Tough hockey is one thing, but I spent most of the last couple minutes wondering if someone was going get injured by a cheap shot.

Loved PK's spunk, I want to see him fight I bet he's probably pretty tough.
Price is an animal.

Perfect game all around. One thing though....Picard is a 7th d-man. A 7th d-man is NOT a 6th d-man who'll end up playing regularly after an important injury. I believe we will have to move if Marky is gone for long.

Supposedly he'd give it to neither Gomez nor Gionta. Then Gionta got it from a linesman.

Then Price threw it into the crowd.

Still, anyone expected the Flyers not to be *********? That's basically their system.

I can't believe I missed most of this game to see Unstoppable. Congrats on the 41 save shutout Price.

Flyers fans can say what they want. They can try to say that they're classy and accept the loss, and how we brag. But we all know that if they won, all we'd hear is how they won two games in as many nights.

Great game for the Habs. Awful powerplay, but it didn't matter tonight.

Yeah I've been saying it all along. He was signed as a 7th defenceman. That does not mean he fills in for a long term injury.

Yes, 'cause there are ignorant people all over this great world of ours. Like the one who also said that he didn't understand how that stupid crowd was singing since it was only a regular season game, and the ones who are complaning about the ole-ole-ole, a supposed non-hockey chant 'cause it seems there are laws about the songs you can or can't have based on the sports you're watching....

good game tonight... both teams looked good, but price was stellar. as far as the goonage goes, don't worry, philly fans hate shelley too and i don't think powe had malicious intent on either questionable hit. he has no track record of bad hits. looking forward to another good one in a week or so.

Intense game, good effort by everyone.

still can't understand why Eller wasn't moved up ton the 3rd line center when Halpren got hurt.

team needs a heavyweight call up against the Flyers especially when Carcillo comes back... They have too manr goons!

I hate the Flyers organization... Their 2 cups were because of goons ... They are a disgrace to the way the game is supposed to be played!

If we need a call up with a forward.... Bring up White!!

Send Boyd to the minors, let the kid gain some confidence and work on his game, he's young and shouldn't rot on the bench.

My era - like what? The era where games were exciting and had actual emotion instead of refs putting themselves above the game?

I would MUCH rather see a game like ours than a game like the Leafs/Preds game. Hockey is BORING without stuff like that happening.

I don't think Powe had any intent either, but Richards does become a baby when he is losing. It's one thing to try and pump up your team, it's another to act like a dbag when your team is almost guaranteed to lose.
