Almost the definition of an elite player. Puts him in some pretty solid company at least. I think the way he's playing he should start to get consideration for the Selke.

la toilette is also known as coach *********. if habs become an elite team like 07/08 goat is going to have to find a deterrent - just as gainey thought BGL was the deterrent after that great year. we can't have guys running price and after PK. it unacceptable. bring up white, bring up henry for these games - or make henry the 7th dman

I respect that alot more than the corporate culture fanbase that is in Toronto.
Um.... Classy is sort of the Hab's brand. Not to spoil it for you or anything.

Why is it that Richards seems to get a pass on his questionable hits. He's a great player, but I still remember the playoffs last year when he was hitting guys from behinds and doing cross ice charges targeting the head. It's dangerous. I'd love to have the guy on our team, but I'd also like to see him taken to task for his actions. He hit Kosty from behind, well after the play had moved up ice. It was dangerous and could have ended up with an injury.

Shhhhhhhhhh. Don't mention that. Seriously.

Great game, what's great about our team this year is that we don't lose to bad teams as much as last year and we keep winning the big games. Let's hope we keep it up.

And Price.

Only way tonight could have been better is if Nashville/Toronto went to OT and Kostitsyn scored the game winner. You could almost say the Habs vicariously lived through Nashville and beat Toronto.

Ahhh... that would have been shweet.

the hit on halpern will probably go unnoticed, but I thought it was one of the most dirty hits I've see so far this year ... the head was clearly targeted.

Meh, I hate the Leafs as much as the next guy, but I rather they win and not give Boston another lottery pick than have them lose. Its much harder to enjoy an arch-rival's misery when another arch-rival directly benefits from it.

He does get heat. Remember the Booth hit?

Something like that. He tied a Habs record or something.

I disagree. I remember the Bell Centre faithful booing Carey Price, doesn't exactly 'scream' classy to me. Neither does the Richard Riot or the burning of cop cars in the streets a couple of years ago.

The organization is classy but the fans haven't been and that is what I like about being a Montreal Canadiens fan, the passion of its fans. When I was at Game 4 last year vs Washington, the environment of the game was awesome, I was next to the Molson zone but it was just awesome.

The loudness and the cheering, its not something I would equate with a classy fanbase.

From the replay behind the glass, we can clearly see that Powe saw Halpern's head and decided to stamp it to the board. It was dirty.

And the hit on Gorges reminds me a lots of the Pominville hit but since Gorges was okay, it will also go unnoticed.

Is there a team in this league that hits their opponents square on the numbers as often as the flyers do?

Powe is simply a dumb and dangerous hockey player. I also wonder why their coach put out his finest goons on the PP when the game was over (and a game that was already spiraling out of control). The flyers can be a disgrace from time to time especially when they are losing by a wide margin.

Anyways, the habs kept their composure for the most part, and Price was stellar again.... this is a recording

We should call up White, Henry and Conboy for the next game against the Flyers, Henry to protect, White to agitate and Conboy, simply because he's crazy and would hunt heads...

Naaaa I'm kidding, I don't want the Flyers to get roughed
