We gotta come out flying, take the body and play hard. Can't afford to "sleep" against Boston.

Looking forward to see the new jerseys in action as well.

The Bruins can be beat with the right approach. If anyone can do it, the Rangers can. The B's are still real bruisers, no different than they were in the 70's, 80's, heck, they have always been the Big Bad Bruins since they found out it worked for them after Orr came up.

I think this is a great time for the Rangers to meet them again.

Hope Boogaard is back in with Shawn Thornton (and possibly Chara) in the Bs lineup...

Our team is doing great this year, and I am very excited.
We are 10-7-1, could be better could be worse. If we want to keep up scoring, and keep the scoring down, and win more games 3 important statistics have to improve!

1. Faceoffs- 45.2% (League rank:28)
2. Powerplay- 15% (League rank:20)
3. Penalty Kill- 81.1% (League rank: 20)

I know it is only 18 games, and the Islanders are #4 FO's, and #11 PP, but to be a great team we need those statistics up. More importantly important PP's (5 minute major down by a goal), FO's, and PK's. I think getting Drury back will tremendously help.

I think there are 4 tiers in the eastern conference, bottom being NYI,TOR so on, the top being WAS and so on. In the beginning of the year many considered us a 3/4 tier team. If we win games like the other night in Pitt, and tonight vs BOS, we can seperate to the 2nd tier of the EAST, not quite the WAS status, but with a TOP goalie, goal scorer, a great second and third line to complement, and a defense that is forming great, this team can be dangerous... even come playoff time.

Sorry for the long post.

Pretty good post.

It's the faceoff percentage that hurts. The high blocked shot rating that the Rangers have had is in large part due to the pretty poor faceoff percentage.

Drury should help out with that once he gets back. Regardless of where he fits in popularity wise, he does pretty good in the faceoff circle.

Messier obviously didn't help much with that faceoff tutoring.

Faceoffs will improve when Drury comes back. Him and Dubinsky our the rangers best at taking faceoffs. They both have historically always been over 50%. With Anisimov & Stepan its a work in progress on faceoffs.

I know it has been asked and answered before but I can't find the answer. Where can a fan see the players leaving the garden after a game? Are there specific games that they will give autographs and take pictures? Thanks

This team has to be feeling good right now. A lot of momentum. What you saw the other night was a happy successful team. Like torts said you can just see it on dubinsky and callahan's faces. Theres a good feeling about this team this year. The youth movement is finally taking its shape. Were seeing what we have been waiting for, for years. Dubinsky and Callahan being young veteran leaders on this squad. Staal and Girardi as stalwarts on defense. Not to mention you got Anisimov gaining ground to join that group of 4 as a top player on this squad. I already think of him as a top player but I feel like he is going to develop more and get even better with time. Then you got the next young group with MDZ, Stepan, etc. Even Gilroy has played well of late, he looks more confident in his own end and with the puck.

I think this team is just too determined right now. They work too hard and they want it bad. I think they get to thomas and put more than just 2 in the net.

You could see it in preseason when these guys got behind they did not pack it in, they came back in a lot of those games. There is a lot of fight. I love it

Couldn't be better timing to be playing Gregory Campbell's team, I don't think.

No need for the "I don't think" otherwise it becomes a double negative and makes it look like you mean this is the worst possible time for the Rangers to play the Bruins.

Oh yes, that wrist fracture kind of flew under the radar for me when it happened, I didn't even notice it, but Boychuk might remember it...

Hope Monday nights fire carries over, no let downs here, win back the Home crowd!!!!

And for the love of all things holy, please give Brandon Prust a few games without a fight, the guy seems like he's fighting every other game, give him a break he's earned it!
