dregger and watters and others in the TO media...

clueless when it comes to the Habs

dregger and bill watters were talking about the habs, subban, price, richards comments etc

dregger mentioned how Pronger tried to take the puck, gionta and gomez went and got it and that Price took it and threw it to the crowd basically out of disgust of the Hab fans and they agreed that this would be Price's last contract with the habs, that he is sick of the fans and the city

they also said that cammy might be sick of Subban and Subban might be sick of him because Mike called Subban "Primetime" and Subban never ackowledged Mike with a smile or anything

they don't see the great team bond they have developed since the playoofs, they don't see the new tradition of rewarding the terrific fans with game pucks from the team and the number one star of the night

i am loving that the leafs suck and the Habs are doing well but listening to some of the stupidity from the so called experts is driving me a little goofy

Go Habs Go

I'm having a really hard time believing that Dregger or someone else would state such a thing between Subban and Cammy... You've got a video or link?

Seriously?

I think Mike is probably the guy PK is closest to in the entire dressing room from what I see.

Wow, just wow.

They're not even close on either of the two points. It's common knowledge in MTL that 1) Gmae puck goes to fans...2) Cammy and PK are close.

I listen to Watters every day for a few minutes. The guy is an old fart, but what's Dreger's excuse?

Surprised by Dreger but Watter's hasn't talked to or researched a Canadien's player since they last won a cup so I'm not that surprised.

Whattttttttt?

If any of that was actually said, then they're completely clueless. Yes, Price throws pucks into the crowd out of disgust. Don't forget about Kostisyn! He's totally disgusted when he gets named first star.

No really, that's what he was saying. I heard it on 640 am on the drive in today in Toronto. That's actually a really close quote as to what they were saying.

They were both convinced that Price was playing his last contract and was dying to leave the Habs. Saying he's going through the emotions when he tossed out the supposed "game puck" into the crowd with little emotion because he was still upset with them for having booed them. That's why they said he looked depressed and lifeless during his skate aroud the ice.

I guess they missed the fact that fans vote, that AK did it earlier in the year, and that Carey Price, against all rumours, isn't a big baby and can take the heat when he was playing bad. I am sure Prices biggest critic is himself and now the fans love him because he is playing, not only how we want him to play, but how Price himself imagined he was capable of playing.

A game puck in the crowd means he wants out of Montreal... Really guys, really?

I always felt dregger was a slime ball, and now I see I can add grade A moron to his list of attributes as well. If he really said that, then he has no buisness as an analyst.

The way I see it him throwing the "game" puck into the crowd isn't in disgust, but I think he threw it to a deserving fan as a thank you for supporting him. He gave the puck away with the mentality he'll get many more like it, just like Cammallerri's modest goal celebrations... "Plenty more where that came from".

I know a girl who went all the way to Pittsburgh to see the Habs play and she is a huge Price supporter, she had a Price sign and he acknowledged her during the pre-game skate. So it's not like he hates the fans.

I think he is talking about HOW he through out the puck. I'm sure you can imagine someone doing something with gusto compared with someone is doing because they feel they have to. If you are having a problem imagining it, change the image of Price and pucks, and change it to your lover, and then ask, can I tell a difference.

BTW, I really don't care about this issue. Just thought I could add clarity.
