I dont think he's gonna keep up the pace but it's defintely not out of the question to see Boyle pot 18-20 goals this season.
Completely agree. I'm almost as impressed by his release as I am by his new-found skating and banging ability. Perhaps he had a good wrister all along, but could never get into position to use it.

At his size, if he can keep this up, he's a heck of a threat in the slot. I'd never want to see him on the top 2 lines, but it's more than his stats -- he's a completely different player this season.

Does anyone know if this is how he played to become a 1st-round draft pick?

I think BB should be a near permanent fixture infront of the net on the PP, screening the goalie and taking out the trash.

Boyle talks about his offseason

This was from the pregame show tonight: Boyle and others talking about the work he did in the offseason with Barb Underhill.

This is coming from a Sens fan, but in my opinion, the real underrated player on your team was Ryan Callahan. I've had my eye on him for a couple years, and he's paying dividends now in my hockey pool that counts blocked shots and hits as well as offensive stats

Boyle seems to have lost some of the physicality he displayed during the pre-season.... What happened to him running through people? Sure he still finishes his checks but in the pre-season he was demolishing people.... Now, not so much.... Would love to see him go back to that style of play.... Really ups the energy level, especially on home ice...

You should pick up Dan Girardi, he leads the league in blocked shots.

Love the Video, Would also like to add I think it is so awesome that a great Figure skating Legend like Barb Underhill has found a niche that can help her receive some $$$$ that other wise in her chosen profession would not have been available 10 years ago.

It is a welcome change to see the NHL players and management open up there stone age mentality and be welcoming to what is available that can help improve players like Boyle etc.

yeah, I don't think Callahan has it in him to score 150-210 points. keep dreaming.
