Man, I really hope that he takes a huge turn in his development. I love the kids game and I just hope that he gets better with some time.

I would like to see Colt stay health a full season. He has some series skills as a tough SOB..

Can't wait to see how he does in the AHL. I like his style of play. Hopefully he can take a roster spot for the 2012/2013 season after Mitchell's contract is up.

I know that he was technically with the Kings, since you can't be sent down while on IR, but has he physically been in Manchester this whole time while receiving treatment? It'd make sense if he were there, getting to know the guys and getting settled in. Particularly since I think the Kings expect him to be there for a while. The last DL quote I remember regarding Teubert was "he's not close [to being ready for the NHL]".

Would there be any chance that he can get a 9 game try-out with the Kings? I think he could replace Harrold, though, it would make a our blueline VERY young. Just a thought.

Kings can call him up and play him anytime they want, the 9 game try-out thing is only for players in junior leagues. Once you play the 10th game you burn a years worth of your entry level contract (which playing in juniors won't do). An AHL player will burn a year of that contract regardless so Kings can do whatever they want.

It is very unlikely that he will get called up though. He missed training camp as well so it's hard to assess where his game currently is at. Signs point to him being pretty far from NHL ready.

That and... there are a few guys in the system that should get a call up before him, imo of course. Martinez, Voynov and to a lesser extent Hickey come to mind right away.

Well perhaps he can now shake the ECHL tag that he gets labeled with sometimes on the main board.

I think CT needs to be treated like a pot of boiling water. If we sit and watch his development everyday it might piss some people off. But if we leave it be and come back (give him a year) we will see the results much more clearly.

Perhaps Hickey and Teubert can help each other while playing
on the same pair.

Their contrasting styles and abilities could make a good pairing.

Let's hope so.
They could both use a career-boost right about now.
