At the risk of making it seem like anyone should be impressed or this is some important milestone, I decided to share that this post marks my 10,000th here at HFBoards. (In fact, I'm a little embarrassed about it...)
But I wanted to do this as a way to say thanks to all of you. Had never done a message board before this one, and don't belong to any others to this day. Like many, I lurked here for 6-8 months before signing up to post. Point is, I'm not a big message board guy, but this one I found engaging enough (the subject matter I of course found interesting as well) to join in the fun.
So thanks to all of you for sharing yoour opinions, information and passions. It's a cool little extra benefit of CBJ fan-dom and despite the fact I've barely met any of you, I like to think of you all as pretty cool people (I've never put anyone on ignore). There are some who don't come around much or not at all, and some of them I really miss.
As much time as I spend on here, I'm glad to know that most of the time it's worth the "wasted" time.

Ditto on this being the only message board that I find worthwhile "participating" in. I started following this team in 2001 when my buddy got drafted and now I'm probably a lifer, in large part because I enjoy the knowledgeable fan base.
What do you know, DSL thinks we're all pretty cool people!
What a frightening lack of judgement that is!!!
...damnit, that's what I was going to say.
Count me also in the "no other message boards" camp (my average Message Board TTL is about four weeks, with the previous max being three months); I too am familiar with this strange feeling of actually feeling motivated to stick around.
In short, "you're welcome... and, yeah, thank you too."
Remember - when you're a hockey fan, it's not "reckless driving", it's "good forechecking".
