What a great GDT, all those stats

I hope they work all game long this time, I hate it when they play awesome against good teams, then not so good against bad ones...

Anyway, Go Habs Go !

3-1 Leafs. I'll continue predicting losses until the Habs can start beating teams they should beat with relative consistency.

Right, so after sitting on the bench for most of last year, 18 games into the season Price is already "burned."

The Leafs always play the Habs very tough regardless of the standings plus the Leafs PP is winning them games right now unlike that Habs lackluster PP..

A Saturday night HNIC game against the Leafs in Montreal doesn't seem to work well for the Habs for some reason.. Leafs score 2 on the PP and win 4-2.

I thought he meant the Habs will burn Price by playing him too much ?

OP, great GDT but I had a request and I'm hoping the Leafs do this as well.

Would it be possible to change the GDT in honour of Pat Burns, since he coached both teams, to show some respect I think it would be nice to make todays GDT (both Habs and Leafs) based on Pat Burns and his achievements.

Also possibly using something like the following pics that I found online, If you have better ones please feel free:

HABS

(I could not find a bigger picture)

VS

LEAFS

(I could not find a smaller pic and not good at personnally modifying them)

RoyBoyCoy, please don't use the quote feature Thanks !

Funny how only one team in 18 games has scored 4 goals against the Habs, yet a whole **** load of great thinking HF posters have the Laffs scoring at least 4 !! Bwahahahahahahahahaha !!!

True, it's not like the Habs will ever give up 4 goals again.

Or maybe it's the "you only post to complain" type of responses which you do. Even when you do give praise, you qualify it with some sort of negative statement.

Your first concern at the begining of the year was "Sure, Montreal is 8-2-1, but those wins came against the bottom feeders"

Now your concern is "Sure Montreal beats good teams, but I won't give them credit until they can consistently beat bottom feeders."

Instead of complaining, how about you notice this trend: Montreal since October has consistently been one of the top teams in the east. No team is perfect and there is always something to complain about, however, this doesn't mean you are not allowed to voice your disastisfaction about some areas. It does mean that stop complaining in every single one of your posts, you are the biggest over-reactor and exaggerator on these boards. At one point when everyone calls you out on it consistently, who need to ask yourself whether if it really is others who have a problem or you.

Seriously, stop whining every single day.

As for what I said above about you complaining that we used to only beat bottom feeders, but no only beat good teams, don't say that's not true because I will go pull out your posts that say what I showed above.

As for tonights game, it can go either way. Predicting games against Toronto is hard to do because no matter how much better one team is over the other, they are always close, heated games.

Go habs go!

Two points would be nice, but stop looking towards Monday's game and focus on tonight's.

Weber in instead of Darche!

Montreal Canadiens
Jacques Martin: «Weber prendra la place de Darche dans l'alignement ce soir» / “Weber will be in the lineup. Darche sits.“

As seen on Twitter.

...and Carbo is now inhabiting the body of Jacques Martin.

This is a moronic way to bring a rookie defender into the NHL.

Hopefully it helps the PP in the short term, but they should be helping the kid play better defense, not shoving him in at forward.

Even dressing him as the 7th D and playing him every so often with Gill or something (someone stay at home) for 5-10 minutes a night would beat this.

If you're splitting up PHD can Pouliot play in the top 6, he really deserves it.

Although if it was me I wouldn't have Weber playing forward.

It helps if you read the post before inserting a generic response.

I never suggested any such thing.
