the bad news for the flyers is that ovechkin has been relatively quite the last few games and is due for a monster game. the bad news for the capitals is that pretty much all the flyers forwards have been lighting the lamp and the defense is due for a bounce back game. i'm feeling a 5-3 win with ovechkin getting a point on all of the capitals' goals and getting stoned once or twice on prime scoring chances.
^That second quote is a bit hypocritical since Washington just got shutout 5-0 and their best player is going through a slump himself. Still, it's right. Everyone and their mother knew a while ago that it was stupid to keep riding Bob like that and now, the one time Boosh does get the start, they're going to play him against arguably the best regular season team in the league? Wtf man.
boosh needs to be better.... that game winner in tampa was all his fault.. his rebound control is terrible.... hope fully he bounces back with a nice performance tonight... im worried with caps coming off 5-0 loss to ATL lats night.... they gonna be pissed abt that...
why the hell would Boucher think like that? do you actually think he's thinking "Oh Washington, ****, I'm ****ed, I'm going to get killed tonight"
He probably doesn't. He's probably a confident guy who likes that the coach has the confidence to put him in against the Caps, even when he hasn't had many games recently, and is thinking about how he's going to stonewall those *****es.
I forgot for a second that professional athlete by and large have no real sense of how good they are or aren't.
