I don't know if that is a strong enough word. Did you see the Patriots one? Words cannot describe the awfulness it is. If I was a Patriots fan and those were for real, I'd feel personally offended by those unis.

I like the old school, why can't the Eagles go back to the uniforms they were wearing against the Packers full-time?

The Flyers did it and I'm loving every game they wear orange.

How about the Skins kicker not having enough leg to get a ~47 yard kick to the goal post?

Who knows... they won in the end, so it didn't bite 'em, but unreal that he came up SHORT on a sub-50 kick.

Off to the bar to watch.

That was a sweet hat Vick was wearing during warm-ups, have to track one down.

With 3 non-first place teams at 7-3 in the NFC (NO, TB, and GB), this is pretty much a must win.

NFL protectionist rules neutering the game, yet again. That was a sweet hit by Asante. Don't care if his helmet hit. Thats going to happen when you have space helmet sized things on their domes.

The NFL game is nothing but sensationalist offense felating trash today. We have pyrotechnics going off before the game likes its a rock and roll concert, a commercial every 5 minutes, and the finese and "skill" players running a muck with the veil of "safety" as a cover.

Bring back the nasty version of football when the defense is relevant again.

Not that hard to not lead with your helmet.

Fine will be 25K.

The whole leading without your helmet argument is incredibly stupid.

You're head is going to be ahead of your body when you tackle. Period. Unless you lean back like you're doing a game of limbo and then you will get run over. The only question is whether your helmet hits the other guy's and thats a crap shoot half of the time.

If they fine him for that hit they should just go **** themselves

If your helmet is the first thing to make contact, you are a ****** tackler.

happy with the 10 pount lead, but it should be more. To many dropped passes and penalties. They get the ball first so hopefully they can put this game away.

All its doing is making playing defense more difficult. Every rule change they are putting in favors offensive football and makes the game ****tier. I mean if your finger TOUCHES the QB's helmet its an automatic 15 yard penalty. I'm just sick of it. I used to love watching football but now it sucks. I guess I'm in the minority since its more popular than ever and likely no one will agree with me but whatever.

I think the 'touching the QB' is ******** and wish they would change it.

If it was up to me, people that tackled with their helmet would be ejected from the game and suspended for the next one. Then we would see the end of this 'oh, it is too hard to stop' b/s.

NFL players shouldn't have to risk severe brain trauma very time they step on the field. Ask Andre Waters if the 'big hits' were worth it.

Oh, you can't, he's dead after killing himself due to brain injuries from playing in the NFL.

And there is another person knocked out cold because the NFL continues to ignore the threat leading with the helmet brings.
