Why was Christensen centering Dubi and Cally in 3rd period? I only watched 3rd period so that may have been the case entire game.

What happened to Anisimov? Not playing too well for the BAR line? I have no idea why Christensen is there. That line cycles the puck so well. It's kinda ridiculous.

Yeah. And we gotta keep the ball rolling.

Flames, Lightning and Panthers come next week. We should be able to take 2 out of 3.

Girardi: TOI 24:34, 2 Asst, 3 Blocks, 6 Hits.
That's a defenseman's game right there.

Picked up Girardi in my fantasy league.

He's become quite the d-man.

I picked him up the 1st week. He's been great for my team. He does a little everything stats-wise.

No, Anisimov was dropped to the fourth line in the second period, and Christensen was moved to his spot with Dubinsky and Callahan.

Anisimov's goal actually came with him out with the fourth line. Might explain why he was excited. Get dropped to the fourth line, go out and score a goal...

And yes, the Pack/BAR line has slowed since Gabby came back, but that could have something to do with A. Gabby's line getting more prime ice time and B. Anisimov getting moved off the line for the PP, with Gabby replacing him (prior to last night's game, anyway)

Edit to add: Torts said the line was getting "stale" in the post-game presser.

Oh mah gawd. I fell asleep during the first intermission.

But when I rewound and got to Frologgin's successful wraparound, I did a JT-esque fist pump.

I definitely did a fist pump when finally after about 5 wraparounds per game by Frolov one went in.

If an unsuccessful wraparound is called a "Frolov", what the heck do you call it when he scores on one???

Is it just me or is it a good sign, and kind of odd, that we are 5-0 on the back end of back to backs?

Ah, Erik Christensen, the man without a line. He tried to take away Stepan's spot on Gaborik's line, and he took Anisimov's spot on the PACK line, because he can not find his own.

It was an April Fool's joke. A trade was never discussed.

The team has played very well in front of Biron this season.

Boyle is beginning to show a little of what he was drafted in the first round for.

Avery is still invisible.

Fedotenko was a good signing for 3rd line duties for us.

Stepan, despite averaging 14 minutes a game and spending long stretches with Boogaard, now has 10 points in 21 games.

Sauer is a team leading +7

Del Zotto has gone from +5 to -3 in a matter of a couple games.

The power play is still a concern

Not a fan of lowering Anisimov's ice time, kid has been one of our better players in both zones.

50th time is the charm for Frolov when it comes to wraparounds.
