I don't care if we win...I just want PK to show Richards some respect.

Goon-Goon-Goon
Goon-Briere-Goon
Goon-Goon-Goon
Goon-Goon-Goon

Goon-Goon
Goon-Goon

Beating the Flyers in their arena after we shut them out in ours would be amazing. Shutting them out again would be monumental and I'm sure, earn us a huge amount of respect throughout the league.

PK should ask Richards "How low can you go?"

Players aren't low, they sink to the expectations of their fanbases.

lol at the flyers gdt: "rip their faces off" / "Kill." / "Take Subbans head off Richie!" / "Make them bleed" etc... -- pro wrestling or what?

Anyway as a hockey fan, I just hope it's a great game. And Habs win.

Price> empty netter
Mike Richards complains in media with cut lip from Subban beating that the low five Price Subby celebration is disrespectful and contacts Bettman to have it made illegal. He will also ask Bettman to ban Subban from the NHL for being disrespectful.

Key to the Game: Gotta show respect early and keep it up for a full 60 minutes.

Fact is that in Philly, violence is much much more a part of the consciousness for a variety of reasons. Richards and the Flyers are a dirty bunch, because their fans like it like that.
What?

I guess that explains why the Canadiens are perceived as a soft bunch.

The Habs have the Flyers shutout for three periods. It would be nice to see them extend that and get them more frustrated as the game progresses. Of course if the Flyers get too frustrated then no telling who will be a target.

Should be an interesting game.

Richards challenges Pk, Pk drops gloves, fists of fury, pounds Richards out of the game. Wachovia Center remains silent in awe while Carcillo cries on the bench. Then someone starts a 'Pk, Pk' chant that takes off to a loud roar. Respect earned.

I think this will be a low scoring, high pace, high energy game. We'll sustain at least one substantial injury to one of our key players for which no penalty will be called and we'll lose by 1 goal after getting only 2 PP to Philly's 7.

3-2 Philly in a muck filled loss to a bunch of dishonorable, whiney, cheap shots artists.

Actually, the person who started that PK chant would end up like this Devils fan:

You mean the way Pronger fessed up after his jackass routine in the playoffs last year? Richards is going to stand by his cry baby routine as if it is something really legit. The guy is a sniveler no matter what Cherry thinks of him.

Flyers need to behave tonight. Habs too. Richards called the attention of the whole league to this game, and if the Flyers are seen to try and injure Subban even Gary Bettman's clown show league has to react. Then again, they didn't fire Cambpell despite his now-proven lack of objectivity about players under his control. If I'm a Bruins fan I'm livid right now. And my real worry is that as a Habs fan I'll be livid after this game because the league will once again "one set of rules for normal teams, special dispensation for Pronger, Richards and the Flyers."

More likely though, both teams are on their best behaviour. Too much downside otherwise.

Hope Subban has his head on a swivel. The goons will be looking for him and I hope he gets under their skin.

I won't make a prediction since it makes some people angry

4-2 Flyers

Thanks GKJ, it's going to be a long day for both Habs and Flyer fans while we wait in anticipation for this one.

Excellent GDT CHamps!
