A little strange that Biron is playing tonight. You would think they'd want to get Henrik on the right track and play him immediately. But Biron has been OK so can't complain too much.

I'd expect Prust - leg withstanding - to be even livelier than usual tonight. Shame he can't flatten Jokinen.

This is a must win. Not for the Rangers, but for me. If the Rangers blow the only game vs Calgary this year I will never hear the end of it.

13 - 2. Prust with a hattie.

I'm super pissed that there is no Jokinen tonight. I was going to buy great seats and go to my first MSG game just to harass him.

Don't think you'd want to do that. When Jokinen angry, Jokinen smash.

I'm a little confused to why Henke isn't playing, you would think he would be able to play against Calgary and Tampa over the course of three nights.

Oh, Biron is starting tonight? No ****! Smart move. Flames suck, TB is a conference opponent and much scarier offensively.

The reason the Rangers signed Biron was so that they could play Hank about 60 games this entire season. If he plays less than that I am fine with it. He had the flu about a week ago and looked bad against Colorado. Give him some time off to work with Benny and recuperate.

It's not ridiculous. His line has slowed. There's no point in keeping a line that's stagnant together. You already know it works, so I'm sure in a couple games he'll be back up there and it'll go from there, heck it may even be tonight. Christensen gets 3 points one night and the next night doesn't get anything going in the 1st period so he's dropped to the 4th and now AA wasn't getting anything going on the 2nd line so he is dropped to the 4th. These line combos barely last a period sometimes.

Sweet. You live in the Ottawa area? same here. Going to the game on the December the 9th?

As for this game, I am happy that Biron is getting the start tonight. Henrik needs to be fresh as most have said, and playing the hot hand is never a bad idea. Really perplexed as to why Anisimov was singled out as being the weak link on the Pack line in the first place.. I guess if he isn't as physical as the other two guys he doesn't get noticed as much?

100% agree.

Hank needs to be fresh for the next game against Tampa. Huge game for Lundqvist facing Stamkos, and it's especially huge for Tortsie against his former team.

Probably upstate NY? When I used to go to school north of Syracuse, it was a 3 hour 15 minute drive to Ottawa, about 45 minutes further than Buffalo. NYC was a 5 hour drive, plus parking $$$, tunnel/bridge $$$, more expensive tickets. I drove to Ottawa twice and Buffalo twice to watch games, it was more cheaper to go to those 4 than 2 MSG games.
