What pissed me off was the fact that is was SO close. In that case the ref should call it a goal and THEN let the replay prove otherwise to overturn the call. THAT's what sucks most about what happened!

The ref's gotta call it as he sees it. He thought that it was no goal. Refs are not trained to "give the benefit of the doubt" to a scoring play.

No, apparently they are trained to give the benefit of the doubt to canadian teams
