Smith has been playing really well lately. Has stopped 69 of the past 71 shots thrown at him. Our defense blocks alot of shots much like yours. Probably won't be a shortage of offense though with Stamkos, St. Louis, Gaborik, and Boyle in the lineup.

Hope to repeat the last time these two teams met during Thanksgiving week.

Let's go Rangers. This is really gonna test our team defense and penalty kill.

Correct me if I am mistaken but, that game last year Gagne got the hattrick on Hank, didn't he just come back from injury in Philadelphia? Edit: (Or was that not on Hank? I forget...)

For #Lightning, Simon Gagne at AM skate, but not likely to play. "You never know - maybe he's gonna have a great nap today," Boucher says.

It'd be typical, wouldn't it.

Wow, is that an insane dig at Gagne by Boucher, or am I reading it wrong? From what I recall, he's not exactly been supportive of Gagne having been out this long.

Meh, I took it to mean "he's not likely to play but hey, you never know what a nap can do...". Guess it could be interpreted that way though, I'm not really up on what's been going on between them.

Where did you hear this? I've heard nothing of the sort.

Boucher is too bad-ass to be going round making digs at players.

My favorite player against my favorite team, totally torn especially since I need Stamkos to have a big night for fantasy haha. Any chance they could kidnap him and force him to play for the Rangers? Leave a few players behind like Gilroy and Feds or something...

You're right, Gaborik only has 3 goals. He doesn't belong there.

I'm terrified that Stamkos will expose Lundqvist's weakness up high tonight. Like someone said in another thread, can we just tie Callahan to Stamkos with a rope?

Whats the deal with Gilroy? Has he just fallen out of favor, or is he not fitting in?

The Positive: Hank is 13-5 with Tampa and a 1.93 GAA; that's a huge bump in confidence.

Rangers are 7-3 on the road
Must be feeling confident after that Calagry game.

The bad: Rangers seem to get 2-3 wins, then immediately lose.

Stamkos is having an unbelievable year, and a huge hand from St. Louis

Rangers PK is pretty average, Lightning's 4th in PPGs i believe.

MDZ will be on the ice.

My thoughts about this one lies in strong defense and making sure St. Louis has no opportunity to pass to Stamkos. Stamkos is a lot less threatening without St. Louis. Their netminder's weak and if Gaborik can get room to move he's sure to score a goal.
