Anyone know what I can do? I bought them off a friend of mine, its her half-season tickets. Is their a specific number to call? do i have to give her name (obviously not mine)
have your friend call and have her explain the issue.
If they are able to do something , I would imagine SHE would need to show-up (with proof of identification) to the Bell centre and they will issue her new tickets.
The fact that she is a season ticket holder may help...
in trouble... its my mistake i dropped them somewhere, i would of done the same if i found tickets on the floor.
Believe it or not the person would still be in trouble. Not sure what kind of trouble to me it would depend on if you or the bell centre persue it or not which I doubt.

Still I'm sure something bad can happen.
Why would someone get in trouble for using tickets they found on the floor? They would probably just move you to unused seats somewhere else (or an unused lodge or something) and give the original ticket holder the "proper" seats.

It's like if you find a briefcase full of money. Normally, you would have to inform the police and I think that if they don't find the owner, it's all yours.
I guess it would be the same thing regarding the tickets. You inform the Bell Center and if no one shows up, it's yours.
He would not be screwed. If he shows up with the right tickets, the person at his seat would have to leave and probably be in trouble.
Once I bought three tickets from a scalper (for me and my in-laws who were visiting from Gaspésie). I gave 2 to my father in law and kept one to myself. My father in law lost the tickets during the day (or they were stolen from him, go figure). When he told me, we went to see the scalper, I told the guy about our story, and asked him if he had 2 ticket in the same area as mine. He said to go see the ticket counter, ask for "Line" or "Jocelyne" or something (I don't remember). I did and she told me to go get the scalper so he could prove I bought the tickets earlier (she actually knew the guy's name!). I did, and then they took my ticket (the one I had) looked up the other two and said that they were sorry, but they can't do anything since the tickets were already used. We finally bought two tickets from the same scalper in another section for my in-laws.
I spent the evening sitting next to 2 guys who used tickets I paid for. When I asked them where they found the tickets they said "in the street". I told them they were mine and they shrugged. I expected they would buy me a beer but the ******** didn't.
Nothing "bad" happened to them. And Bell Centre were not able to help once the tickets were used.
940. The finder of a thing shall attempt to find its owner; if he finds him, he shall return it to him.
941. The finder of a lost thing, in order to acquire, by prescription, ownership of it or of the price subrogated to it, shall declare the fact that he has found it to a peace officer, to the municipality in whose territory it was found or to the person in charge of the place where it was found.

That's rough, man. You sound like you handled it a lot better than I would've.
