Does that mean Nodl > Vanek?
I like Nodl and all, but I hope someone gives him that kind of offersheet.

Watch how fast Holmgren accepts picks.

I'd just like to add that Andy gets mostly even strength and PK minutes. I'm sure Kovy gets many more PP minutes. Just sayin'.

I love how out of all the people you expected to step up to fill that void of Gagne (talk about big shoes). It hasn't been Zherdev, it hasn't been JVR (at least not in the first 20 games... sorry to say). For the most part Andy has been that consistent winger on Richards' line and each week he seems to take another step in the right direction.

Hard numbers, TOI per game:

Kovalchuk: 21:05 (3:32 PP, 17:27 ES, 0:05 SH), 1st for Devils forwards

I never really noticed it until the minnie game, but did anyone else catch glimpses of how much he plays like gagne on the ice? Solid in his own end, playing the PK, can't take the puck from him on the boards, and he is starting to bury scoring chances.

My statement in part sarcastic and directed at P-Rocket, because he was actually trying to preemptively declare a jinx and blame any future problems Nödl may have on something completely unrelated: this thread.

People are free to believe whatever they want, but when they start making up BS and try to make people feel bad over a dumb little thread on the internet, as if nobody else was discussing the same topic and expressing the same sentiments, it just gets annoying and unproductive.
