Wheeler, Ryder and Sturm

What would you guys want back if any of them was traded?

We need to clear cap for when Savard comes back, and it looks like one or two of these guys would get traded. And WHEN one of them is traded we can not take back any cap at all. So we will have to dump them for picks and prospects.

Who will get traded and for what?

I'd add Paille to that list as well. With Marchand's play this year, it's made Paille expendable.

As for the return for those guys....

I think they'll get moved for picks/prospects, Maybe a PMD if we're lucky?

Wheeler and Ryder may return a 3rd or 4th pick.
Sturm a 4th or 5th. (Only because noone knows if his knees have effected his play yet)

I'll say it again: There's a lot of veteran contracts the B's will trim before they touch Blake Wheeler. THey don't share their fanbase's ambivalence towards the guy, especially since he's played competently at center.

I'm so tired of thinking about who they have to trade. Although, I wouldn't rule out sending Ryder down and bringing him back for the playoffs.

Sturm, I'd take whatever I can get. The Bruins have proved they can win without him, so anything for him would be an upgrade, in my opinion.

Agree with this. Wheeler's not getting moved for anything short of an overpayment. He doesn't make a ton of money, he's the only non-UFA of the group, and his game is markedly better this year.

I think Paille will defenitely be shipped out. On D I can see Hunwick beeing traded. I can also see Caron beeing sent down.

I don't think they will move Wheeler for a pick unless it is a 1st rounder (which I doubt they can get).

Ryder, unless you have a good offer right now, I think the Bruins will wait till Strum comes back before trading him.
