Was thinking the same thing, especially since boston has a couple of games in hand, time to separate us from them

Go Habs Go

Big time. if we can get these 2 wins this weekend, we would be way ahead in our division.

The D looks solid on paper, but they're quite inconsistent defensively as a team, thats especially the case on the road.
They're finally building something convincing though, and are quite hot right now...

They still have some question marks anyway.
26th in GA/G, 26th in PK, 29th in SA/G, only .429% when leading after 1 period (29th), they're beatable, and if we keep playing like we usually do on the road, we should win.
I hope that Eller will keep going after his last games.
And i am praying for a multi-points night for Gomez...

ATL might be overconfident with their winning streak( two of those wins was agaisnt top teams). I think the Habs will take a early lead tonight , I just Auld will do the job

Maybe but they are playing great hockey and since Pavelec has come back they are a solid team on the back end. Hopefully we could get off to a great start like in Philly except this time keep the lead

thats what i thought at the start of the season and then we proceeded to give up tons of goals the first 12 or so games. they seem to finally have figured out what Ramsay wants now and got it down to 4GA in the last 4 games

I'm not saying they are not a good team but I just hope they take us a bit lightly because they have a winning streak and Auld is our goalie tonight.

and can't see the Habs come flat tonight.

I'm so sick of seeing Moen with Gomez and Cammy. I'm at the point where I'd rather see Weber playing on the second line, hahaha... seriously, DD or Patches or whoever with an ounce of talent or at the very least speed -- no knock on Moen -- that can keep up with G-no-Love, if Martin wants Pouliot with Eller.

Nope, he was never sent down, they placed him on waivers to see if another team would pick him up, they decided to keep him in Montreal

I can already sense the "Why didn't Martin dress Price tonight against Atlanta and Auld vs Buffalo" comments if we lose this game... It's unavoidable!

winning a division battle is more important to the team i believe. And if playing a fresh price vs buffalo gives us the best chance then im all for it. I still think we are going to win both games so it does not change much who is in nets. Go habs Go.

At this stage I'd hardly consider Buffalo a divisional threat, as early as it is in the season.

Atlanta has been scoring a lot more goals so to me it makes sense to have your ace starter in nets for that game. But that's my opinion.

Is that the one where the entire GDT was one Wild fan talking and replying to himself? Classic stuff right there.

nah, that one was last season. (+ that was also the day when I've officially registered to HF)

I'd have so much loved to reply in that epic GDT though.

The one I talk about was last month.

Oh my, yeah. Things got a little heated there, I would love for Minnesota and ATL to become a rivalry
