It's obvious we are not an elite team, so let's be happy with the win.

Decent road win, nothing more, nothing less.

Henrik was stellar.

Stepan must have felt the sixth sense that someone had bought his jersey finally, and played a great game because of it (you're welcome everyone).

If that heritage jersey isn't total garbage when it gets here I'm definitely getting a Stepan, or Sauer, not sure yet.

The "Henrik" chant during the last minute of the game was loud as hell.

personally i thought we played roughly the same as we did against the Lightning. Except the Panthers kinda blow and couldnt finish to save their lives. Henrik was outstanding.

Generally speaking when you are outshot by a 2-1 margin, you did not have a good game, especially when youre the rangers and block a ton of shots to boot.

Good win Hank played great. They got outplayed in the first. I agree with Torts taking Frolov off Gaborik line. Dubi is a better player Frolov has been horrible. Avery played a good game. Not suprised he was effective because he got good minutes and wasn't playing with Boogaard.

Good to see Prust get his first goal. He had a really good fight too. White sucks I much rather have them call up someone like Weise. The games Boogaard doesn't play he will at least bring a high energy physical game. And Sauer is becoming one of my favorite rangers.

Somewhat sloppy play in our zone. We didn't get much offensive pressure at all, shown by the 19 shots for, and 40 shots against. Staal was fantastic, as was Sauer again, Gaborik looked like Gaborik, Stepan was showing flashes, and Chris Higgins still can't catch a break.

Meh, we weren't that bad tonight.

We managed to stay in the offensive zone for large periods of the game, but we didn't get many shots off though. We were also skating harder and played physical, something that didn't happen against Tampa.

A lot of Florida's shots came from the outside.

Haven't seen the highlight reel, so I'm not sure. Cats had a goal waved off, as Weiss batted the puck out of the air with his glove right at the top of the crease...Higgy punched it in, but it was ruled a hand pass.

Sauer was being nasty after the whistle, as is becoming the norm for him. Frolov was dropped to the fourth line, Avery got more time with higher lines. Played pretty well as a result.

Had to listen tonight. Florida PXP man (former Ranger defenseman Randy Moeller) said several times Staal was the best player on the ice. He was impressed.

I hope so much that Stepan, Callahan, Dubinsky and our bright future Chris Kreider would become league top scorers. All of them at once. Can men have a hope?

I was stuck watching the game on a non-HD TV!

Anyway, we did not play a great game at all but we got the win. Hank STOOD ON HIS HEAD, and kept us in it. So glad he got the 40 save shutout. Glad to see Prust get a goal, even happier to see Step and Cally get goals too. Stepan and Callahan played real good tonight.

edit- Obviously Staal played really well too, but you guys already know that. Real glad to see Sauer starting to get mean at Hanks crease. We need that big time.

Hahaha, I almost felt bad for him when he thought he scored and was celebrating. Almost. Glad we got the win tonight.

Only read through last couple pages of the thread but sounds like we played like ****. Oh well 2 points is 2 points. We'll take it.

Bring on Preds. I'll be very surprised if Hank isn't between pipes tommorow night.

After the fifth goal the tv announcer even said there was going to be a goaltending change, but lundqvist was still in net for rest of the game. Then I found out later lundqvist said he wanted to stay in net to torts.

In that situation you're only pulling the goaltender because you don't want to hang him out to dry, but if he feels he needs to stay in to get his game back then I can't imagine a coach saying no. The games basically lost at that point.

I was at the game.

It was crazy.

I was in the lower bowl surrounded by Rangers fans. It was awesome.

Towards the beginning of the game, there was a faint Lets go Rangers chant going.

After Prust scored the Panthers fans all left so it was mostly Rangers fans left and Hen-rik chants filled the building.

Other notes from the game:

Rangers came out flat in the 1st. We were lucky to score first. 2nd period was ok, but still got outplayed. Henrik was stellar. Gaborik made some noise.

All in all, it was a messy game by us and Henrik stole that one for us.

The goalie won that one for us. Nice bounceback game for Henrik.

Frolov looks sloooooooooow.

The offensive performance may not have been flawless, but we definitely spent more time in the offensive zone this game; the shots just don't reflect it.
