1st/2nd pairing D to MTL

With Markov out, older guys like Spacek, Hamrlik, Gill have to eat big minutes and they don't seem to keep up with that pace

Subban - X
Hamrlik - Spacek
Gill - Gorges

If Markov is out long-term, habs could invest into something interesting, starting with

Tinordi/Weber
Pick
Pacioretty/Desharnais

Tinordi + Pick + Pacioretty is actually a pretty solid package not a lot of fans offer up anything very good. I don't think Burke would move a dman (especially to Montreal) but Beauch for a pick and/or prospect could fill a top 4 spot.

Got a decent 4th line center kicking around, and maybe a depth d-man? Bieksa's yours.

not sure of how much capspace the canadiens have but maybe they would be interested in rosie.. very solid top 4 defenseman who can play both sides of the puck and eat alot of minutes. However, im not sure what the canadiens would have to offer for him. The rangers cant wait to get him back but can live without him, if getting a decent dman who is in his last year of his contract. Rangers would be looking to clear some capspace to resign home grown talent and go after a top center in Brad Richards.

Whattaya think?

Kristo/Weber + Tinordi/Pacioretty + Gill (for salary reasons)

for

Regehr

Is that enough?

Regehr - Subban
Czechs
Picard - Gorges

Not bad till Markov gets back. Doubt Regehr would waive his NMC anyway though.
