+ Crosby is playing the best all-around game of hockey I've ever seen someone play. He's just amazing.

- Took a puck to the mouth in drop-in hockey. Thought I might need to get stitches as it was bleeding pretty bad. Luckily there was no damaged teeth. That mouthguard that I bought last year and have never used is finally going to be getting some playing time.

+ Fleury is consistent now and he was really the key player last night, he enforced the win and in his current form the players should feel good with him in the nets.

+ Letang continues to impress me and he is improving with each game that he plays, some good defensive play.

- Not taking enough chances and scoring more from the number of shots that we had is criminal.

Most would say that's a good thing around here, but I'm sure someone will say Staal's overrated just because of this.

More reason to take some PK time off of him and replace it with PP time when he gets back.

In other words, reinvent the wheel.

He's not a god, Jags. Change is, sometimes, good. You know, you can't just hope that everything stays comfortable and the same for a player's career.

Well, even If I'd be down with moving Malkin permanently to wing (which I am not), it doesn't make sense to thrust Staal into a scoring role when he's been away from the game for half a season by the time he gets back.

Break him in slowly, if ever.

Ah, I see what you're saying.

My bad, I misunderstood.

Staal will be fine. He has been skating, and before he comes back, he will have been practicing with the team.

No matter how you slice it, Trash Stash > Brotee

There is no excuse for the chinstrap. I'm looking at you, Derek Engelland.
