The puck feels too heavy on my stick

I use a composite stick and whenever I take shots the puck feels too heavy. Is something wrong with my technique or do I need more muscle? Thanks.

Hmmm...

Could your blade be broken?
If not, when you carry the puck, if your stick is on it to the side of your body, that might be a problem. Try to handle the puck infront of you more.

If thats not the problem, then I dunno.

I never thought of stick positioning, I think it may be a combination of that and not enough upper body strength. I appreciate the help though thanks.

EDIT: My stick is brand new so it isn't broken.

It's probably too whippy for you, or maybe it's too light and you need to get used to it. What's the model and flex?

could be the way you tape your stick. the end to end balance can effect the feel of the puck.
