Nope, they've said he won't be playing forward.

Boogaard also scratched, so 7 D, 11 F for #NYR. Gilroy won't move up to play forward.

Eh, I don't see why we can't give Gilroy a shot at forward. There's a free suit on the fourth line with Christensen and White.

Obviously I don't think Gilroy is a better defenseman than rozsival. I do think Rozsival is way overrated here though.

Rozsival is no different than Drury and Redden in my opinion, too much money for too little production.

oh well, guess i'm grasping at anything to get a spark anyway once i'm hoping for a defenseman to get a shot at forward, lol

Hardly. Redden was paid 6.5 to be a #6 dman, and Drury makes 7 mil to put up 30 points, something Rosi can do from the backend. Fact of the matter is, Sather is not going to trade Rozsival unless he is satisfied with the return. He's not giving him away. I can say this as a fact. And, he's doing the right thing. Rosi has been good for us every year he's been here, and he's that veteran presence from the blueline that's needed with such a young group.

Ugh. Maybe that's why Gaborik hasn't been scoring?

Still though, that's no good at all.

Struggles aside the Preds have only one loss at home.

I'll take a point here.

The flu's been going around the Nashville camp too I believe, particularly the back-room staff. Hell, I've had the damn thing for a week.

I guess it's the cool thing these days to **** on Gabby. FFS, LGR - just win. We outscore Nashville even without our 40-goal scorer. Real talk.

Thankfully your opinion means absolutely nothing and that Slats and Torts both realize he's a very good player.

No, because he's not "completely average". He's a jack of all trades guy. Good in all aspects, but great in none. That's worth what he's getting paid. Players who can play in all situations and play them well do not come easily.

But keep thinking he's a crap player. It's hysterical. Goes hand in hand with your avatar.

Your right Jonathan, good example. Slats and Torts are who I look to in this league to judge talent and offer good contracts...
And very good players usually have the numbers to prove it, especially given 20+ minutes a night.

Again. He's not going to light the lamp to appease you. That's why he's simply good offensively and not great. He's good offensively and very good defensively. Not sure what you want to see from him. He's a positional player and he's pretty damn good at it.

I am OK with other fans being ignorant of him, but when our own fans are this ignorant? It's pretty sad. Open your eyes and watch him play instead of looking for "numbers to prove it". The numbers are the minutes he plays.

Also, your idiotic digs at Torts like he's some know nothing are hysterical. What have you ever done in hockey? He has a Cup. You do not and never will.

Also, the guy has 8 points in 15 games. He was on pace for 40 points. Yet he's a terrible player who does nothing right to some foolish people on this site.

Ok, i called him an average player, learn to read my friend, i never called him crap.

good in all aspects but great in none describes an average nhler...

Gimme a break, ur a clown looking for a fight and i'm not going to bite. If you think your opinion is more valid than others cus its yours, then i'm sad for you.

I'm pretty sure at 5 million a year you should do something better than just good.
