It's true, but still pretty sad. CBC's HNIC is the only major sporting event in North America I can think of that still carries games in SD. It's disappointing that our national channel is not capable of more.
so all this time I thought it was just crappy HD, now I realize it's not even HD... I feel cheated in some weird way, even though it has no effect on reality.
Man, english fans are shafted like crazy , especially if not using Bell and missing out on TSN regionals.
Sorry TankEller but I respectfully disagree. Cammy needs Plek way more than Plek needs Cammy imo.
Think what you want guys. I still think both players have a hard time when they're split, and that they make up for a much more threatening duo than Kostitsyn and Plekanec. And much, much more dangerous than Plekanec-Gionta.
One way or another, Plekanec slumping offensively and being assigned to defensive duties last playoffs didn't prevent Cammalleri to finish 1st scorer of the playoffs.
Cammalleri absolutely isn't dependant to Plekanec in any way.

Seriously, are we two years old? Who cares who needs who more the bottom line is that they should be playing with eachother.
Can we agree to that and move on? Lets talk about the game folks!
I haven't insulted anyone. I just don't agree with those saying how Plekanec is so damn important to Cammalleri and that Cammalleri's success all relies on being put with Pleks. I think it works with the other way around as well, and that doesn't seem to be a popular way of seeing things around here.

like I said earlier, the game is technically in HD but the CBC HD channel is only in 16:9 size.
So, if you prefer watching the game with a beautiful image, just watch the game on RDS and if you prefer to hear some quality better comment during the game, just watch it on CBC.

It's not technically in HD. It's a lower resolution (but 16:9) SD image upscaled to 1280x720. Just the fact that the picture is 16:9 does not make it HD.
