it's amazing what 24 hours can do

The Habs looked absolutely lifeless last night and tonight...completely different team

I think it's time that Martin reunites the regular lines Cammy-Plek-AK & Pouliot-Gomez-Gionta

ah, thx. Was hoping he wasn't benched by JM for fighting or something like that... side note: Eller went 8 for 8 on faceoffs tonight... He's looking better and better, imo.

I wonder what a line composition of Pouliot - Eller - Cammalleri would produce.

Short of knowing where the puck is going he had no chance. Two players skated by just as the shot came.

I've been wanting to see that line on our PP for quite some time now. I don't think Eller is ready to fill the role of a 2nd line center yet. But on the PP, I would definitely give him a shot. As much as Darche crashes the net, he has absolutely no business playing on the PP.

Great that the Habs won tonight but it is getting more apparent with every game that the Habs need another top 6 forward.. The Gomez, Cammy, (insert 3rd/4th liner here) line are not doing anything.. Cammy must be getting frustrated as hell not having productive line mates this year..

Where they can find such a player is another matter...

Did anyone see the interview with Pleks on CBC before the game? Supposedly Kaberle tried getting Pleks to come to Toronto but he told him he wanted to stay in Montreal, maybe Pleks can get Kaberle to come here in the off-season.

The team was awesome tonight, we have such a game plan and when followed we execute and finish. We had a lapse in the third, and I knew the Sabres would score as we weren't playing the same in portions of the third as we were in the game.

Overall a great game, starting to feel sorry for Cammarelli being stuck with Gomez though.

No! NO!!! Cammalleri is the one at fault. Gomez is the ideal center... According to some people that is...

Eller should get more minutes. Pouliot as well.

Gomez should be put on the third line. It's been 23 games and still no indication of him waking up just yet.

These guys should be with Cammalleri, two big boys, one who will dish the puck and another who is a shooter too to take some looks away from Mike.

Just put Cammalleri out of Gomez's line. Hell... Just put any single skilled player out of Gomez's line.

Pouliot - Eller - Cammalleri would certainly work better than Cammalleri - Gomez - Moen.

Really think the Habs should be looking at Penner to play in the top 6. Montreal has assets they could trade with the Oil to get the big body they so sorely need in the top 6. Edmonton would love to get role model and hard working players like Moen and others in return.

Moen has not worked offensively with anyone in the top 6, love his work ethic but a bottom 6 guy is a bottom six guy...and Gomez needs to be demoted to make him earn that top 6 player position.

I'd definitely be game to poney up a first round pick + some minor assets for Penner.

Let's face it, it's so-so draft year compared to previous years and we should have a relatively late pick the way things are going.
