trade moen and there's little deterrent or grit on the team...guys like boyd, maxwell, weber, 2nd rounder, etc should be considered instead

I hear a lot of complaining about Gomez, but I thought he had a really good game. He made some really nice plays out there (ex: pass to AKost all alone in front).

I also really liked Pouliot out there tonight. He looked really good and made some really nice plays. I like him and Eller together. Just a matter of time before they start putting 'em in.

Montreal doesn't need to make a trade (especially not for Penner, who is way overpaid for a 28 year old that has only broken 50 points once). They're doing really well as it is.

Pacioretti is doing really well with the Dogs so if they needed to bring someone up, they might look at giving him a call-up.

*smacks team for trapping in the last three minutes, costing Price his shutout*

Otherwise, cheers for Price!

I'm a Shark fan but I'm visiting in Montreal over my break and I went to the game; enjoyed it a lot.

Sucks that Price didn't get the shutout but it was a great game for Price and Gio. AKost also played well. Great game all around for you guys.

Pyatt Gomez Lapierre
Moen Halpern Darche

Give her a try! Throw eller with some offensive threats and maybe something good might come out of it.

Pierre Houde jinxed Carey Price

Whoever was watching the game... When he said the word "shutout" the first thing I've said is **** Pierre, you will jinx it... Faceoff, goal, I was like whoa, I saw that coming a mile away.

Not much to critique here. Habs played a very good game.

All I'll say is that it's time to take a few minutes from Gomez and give them to Eller. Eller has really looked good lately.
I agree, and it's not even to punish Gomez. I actually think he could perform better if he would play less minutes.

Me: "Why are they talking about a shut out!?!? There's like a full minute left!! Here it comes"
Dad: "Oh shut up Alex, that's not even a real thing"
Houde: "Oh! Et le but!"
Me: "Mmmmhhhhmmmmm"

Idem... Dunno why, but sometimes you got a feeling deep inside that something will happen. When he said "blanchissage" I could have bet a thousand buck that we would get score on...it didn't even took 10 seconds.

AK his really playing well and he looks so great with Gionta. He didn't play often with rightys (last one i remember is Lang) and he can make some really sexy pass when paired with one. Andrei feed the captain like a master and this line is sticking better than the ATM one. Gionta is also playing a much better game than Cammy, who really stinks since the beginning of the season.

One last thing, nobody's talking about it but Pouliot is coming on his own and is developing his game really well. The effort level is always there, his skating is soooo fluid it's a thing of beauty. Third on the team for hits, poised with the puck, we can see he keeps it a lot more than last season. This kid's gonna become really good for us in a near future.

Cammalleri got slashed by some McCormick retard at the end of the period then Cammalleri went up and started pushing him then Moen jumped in and fought him, was great to see Moen get in there and stick up for Cammy.

i was just eavesdropping in on a freak out thread on the leafs board and it got me thinking about the future...
looking ahead, what kind of team will habs have in 3-4 years?
difficult to look that far ahead, but will we keep being a playoff team?
i think subban and price are enormous foundation chips...
eller probably a strong two way center...
cammy and pleks will still be relatively young...andrei too
gio and gomez not so much...
so who can step in?
tinordi will be a nice pairing with subban
i think pacioretty replaces gionta
there is talk that leblanc will be made into a winger...
i guess my question and it is difficult to answer right now,
do kristo, leblanc and maxpac all have what it take to pick up
slack?
what about palushaj and avtsin?
