The NHL take points away from Sid??? Hat-trick creating points to boot????

Abso-lutely not. It would break Bettman's heart to do that.

I believe it's 24 or 25 in 12 depending on if they credit him with the hat trick.

Eh, the puck did seem to change direction. I think the only way the NHL takes the goal away from him is if they can say *without question* that it wasn't his stick that tipped the puck to change its direction. Kind of like how if video evidence of a goal is inconclusive, the ruling on the ice stands.

If anyone takes the goal away, it will be Crosby himself. The way he celebrated made it seem like he got a stick on it. Usually he'll point at the shooter and skate to him if there is any question and he didn't touch it.

He is, he is doing this with no help at all. Can't wait to see a new level in Crosby when he hits his prime.

The Web-Site Down Goes Brown said it best when he recommended ways to improve the Pens in the off season...

"Replace Crosby's wingers with better players... 2 cut outs of Sidney Crosby."

I would argue that he is doing it with a Kunitz that is looking like a true top-six support player. Obviously relative to Stamkos or Ovechkin or anybody else that may not mean much but I wouldn't say Dupuis and Kunitz are completely useless on their own.

And I just can't wait for next season when I'm certain Shero will bring in some top-six help in some form or another. Sid certainly is a treat to watch game in and game out.

Last offseason was Shero's biggest test. Lose Gonchar, we needed to replace him and badly! we will never replace him on the PP but we replaced him on the 5 on 5 area. Martin and Michalek were MUCH needed and are really helping out now. Shero gets an A++ fo the offseason. Sure you hear people whining about wingers, but there clearly was no wingers at the off season that we could have went for. Sure the old man but D is much more of a need. Next off season is not that great for good wingers but it has a ton of the type of wingers this team needs A TON! Hopefully the cap goes up 3M or more so Shero can get picking at the wingers. This UFA crop of wingers is what this team needs more...not Kovalchuk or Semin type, the lesser type. We got the big guys already, fill them with lesser guys who can do the job and GG! If you ask me, this is too perfect.

The D off season followed by the winger off season after...too good to be true! Malkin and Crosby will have their wingers for sure.

was my first game at Consol yesterday (went to McCartney concert and took several tours during construction). Great game, had a blast. That arena is awesome

if they changed Sid's 2nd goal, wouldnt they have done it by now?
