Fulton Reed looked so big and bad ass when the rest of the team were little. But as the kids all grew, he no longer seemed all that tall and intimidating.

I always liked how in the 1st one, with the final "triple deke" shootout, he's not even wearing a helmet. that's always irked me for some reason

Oh lets not talk about the Mighty Ducks trilogy as I could talk all day. I loved how Fulton Reed's jersey is the only one that had his 1st name on the back. They all had last names, but his said "Fulton".

You noticed that Conway wasn't wearing a helmet, but not the fact that he wasn't the one tripped up on the play? For some reason, Bombay was allowed to put whoever he wanted out there for the Penalty shot.

The best has to be the hilarious interference on every single face off. 10 year old kids are getting dumped before the puck even drops.

I think the most mesmerizing part of the moving looking back is how Bombay's life went completely down the toilet because of a shot he missed when he was like 10 years old, and the fact that he and some 60 year old opposing coach carried it with them for 20 some years.

I think he also hurt his knee in the minors or something, but man was he ever living in the past during that whole "a quarter of an inch Charlie!" speech in the diner.

I agree. the mighty ducks movies as some of my favorite movies of all time (due to hockey) are great but annoying to me as a hockey fan at the same time... there are SOOOOOOo many inaccuracies in them movies... i just sit there with my wife when we watch with my son and i'm like... you can't do taht in a real game, thats such a weak shot i could stop that... and shes liek shut up its a movie... but either way they are soem of my favorites

PHILLY STAND UP! lol

I would have to rate my favorite hockey movies...
1. Mystery Alaska (way far fetched, but I f-ing love it, John Biebe and Stevie Weeks are my heroes)
2. Miracle
3. Slap Shot
4. Youngblood
5. D2

I like to pretend that he said "Let's go shake their Hans" and the next scene cuts to them roughing up Hans in the stands while taunting Bombay.

Its funny how when I was a kid I didnt even care to find inaccuracies in these movies.
Then you just enjoy them.

I saw a peice of the one where they go to prep school a few weeks ago.
The one kid was complaining he was on the third line.

Then I realised theres not enough kids to make 3 lines with Dmen. lol
Hilarious realisation. Never woulda thought of that as a kid.

So of course I had to try and figure out the lines in my head, but I couldnt even think of who the Dmen were. I thought maybe the bash brothers were Dmen but Fulton seems to be Charlies winger in that movie.

We're due for another good hockey movie, I think. What was the last good one, Miracle? There's tons of great sports movies but not enough are about hockey.
