Pfft.... That might as well say "Parse to miss remainder of the season". The thing I've been reading is "3-4 months", so I'd forget about Parse coming back this season, unless it's the playoffs.

I like Richardson fine, but not on the 1st line for "3-4 months".

All things being equal, I'd sign Satan for a year.

IF Millard is right about Schenn then it will be the very first time since he picked up a toy with his right hand that he has every been right about anything.

(Im left handed but even then, Millard can't even make a right hand turn he"s so often wrong)

Schenn to fly from Manchester to LA Monday to rejoin Kings but won't play vs Ducks. If Zeiler clears recall waivers he might play.

I figured it out. The Kings are calling up Zeiler so that he can carry Schenn's bags through the airport.

Some of you are surprised? Schenn's 2 week conditioning stint is over, and the Kings still aren't sure what they want to do with him. I'd assume the Kings will string this out further with the WJC.

Even if his contract wasn't a factor, I doubt the Kings would play Schenn for his 4th game in 4 days, with a coast to coast trip in between.

I'm very surprised I thought he'd get the full 14 days.

Manchester doesn't play again until Friday, which would be more than 2 weeks. Might as well bring him back now.

His assignment probably would've ended prior to the next game anyway, so why not bring him back.

He was sent to Manchester on the 17th, and the Monarchs don't have another game until Friday.

7gp 3goals 4a 7pts

Will be really interesting to see what they do next.

Wouldn't mind if they allowed him to compete for the national team in a couple of weeks. Regardless, they may feel comfortable sending him to junior to finish the year. He has a nice chunk of pro experience under his belt, now it wouldn't be a complete waste by playing a couple of more months of junior hockey. Or keep him for good..Westy has a broken nose so maybe he won't fight for awhile, curious to see how long Dwight King's stint lasts, team is in an ugly losing streak, somethings gotta give.

Schenn proved in the AHL that he is too good for juniors. The kid was scoring at a PPG average in the A. Sucks that he can't stay there.

I hope we give him another chance with the Kings. I look at how much Clifford has developed since being able to play in every game with us, and I think Schenn could too.

Wouldn't we have too many players if both Zeiler and Schenn are back up? Is King going down? So confused...

I want all of Schenn, Loktionov, and Clifford in the line up. Almost forgot about Ponikarovsky though.. When he comes back I would like to see:

Ponikarovsky-Kopitar-Brown
Smyth-Stoll-Williams
Clifford-Handzus-Simmonds
Loktionov-Schenn-Richardson

(Westgarth is awful, and Lewis played a pretty good game in Boston but other than that he just skates fast and does nothing else.)

Richardson-Lewis-Westgarth

But these lineups make too much sense for Terry Murray to put them together

ya so most likely we'll get:

Zatkoff - Kopitar - Zeiler
King - Simmonds - Scuderi
injured Loktionov - injured Poni - injured Parse
Dog - Cat - Westgarth

Which is why it'd make sense if Zeiler is claimed.

Brown-Kopitar-Simmonds
Smyth-Stoll-Williams
Clifford-Handzus-Lewis
King-Richardson-Westgarth
Zeiler, Schenn

Does Westy go on IR with a broken nose? Not likely. No news about King being sent down.

At least you have Dustin off the first line. We beat down the walls for a LW but it still would have major issues with Dustin's style of play. We're on two years of him having no chemistry with Anze. They're constantly chasing the game with zero possession in the offensive zone. I haven't counted ten seconds all season with the first line and a sustained attack.

Dustin isn't really to blame on this though. TM is the one that puts the lines out there and if he can't see it and I don't know what to say?

I'd like to see this:

Moller (until Ponno comes back) - Kopitar - Williams
Smyth - Stoll - Simmonds
Schenn - Zeus - Brown
Cliffy - Richardson - Lewis/Westy

Godamn amazing. I do not get why Kings fans have a hate on so bad for their captain. He only managed to silence critics by scoring 9g in 18gp (on pace for 41g would have put him 6th in the league last year) but as soon as he goes 4 games without a goal falling to an atrocious 34g pace (would have put him 12th) it's back to BROWN IS A THIRD LINER. Meanwhile Poni (15g, 30pts pace) and Simmonds (15g, 26pts pace) are legit top 6ers right?

People Brown is a legit top 6er on EVERY TEAM IN THE NHL. And no chemistry with Anze? Really? Anze and Brown were finding each other all other the ice earlier, it is the whole team in a slump, Anze and breaking up AK/DB is just another TM mix and match special if it happens.

Yah, I don't see it.
