NOVEMBER SCHEDULE:

QUOTES TO NOTE:

This is the kind of game that last season we might have lost.
- Erik Christensen

I put a lot of pressure on myself (in shootouts) because I want to help the team get that extra point.
Last season showed that the extra point can be huge. To come up with all three stops in the shootout felt really good for me.
- Henrik Lundqvist

These are the points at the end of the year that kill you if you don’t get them.
It was a good gut-check for us in getting points that we needed to get.
- John Tortorella

Hopefully there's some consistency in the reffing.

Let's go Rangers!

Well, with the way Sidney Crosby is playing I don't expect the same outcome as the last meeting.

We need a consistent lineup, i.e. getting Gaborik back.

Maybe now that we're in our building, we could get a powerplay....

wishful thinking, I know.

Of course they will. At the end of the third with 27 seconds left when the Rangers are down 4-1.

I dont expect them to win this one. Doing so would be a nice bonus.

Games like this make the difference at the end of the season. LGR and lets hope for a great effort and just enough luck.

I'm not expecting to win this one either, but I will be happy if the team shows 100% effort throughout the game.

Maybe we'll also get some fair officiating now that we're not in Pittsburgh?

LETS GO RANGERS!!

If only Cooke has some balls. It would be great to see Boogaard smash his face in.

As long as the Rangers give 100% effort I'll be content whether we win or lose.

Our FO% is absolutely abysmal, that has to be bottom 3 in the league.

Crosby loves having huge games against the Rangers....lets hope this wont be one of them.

LGR!

Well Cindy gets frustrated when he plays against hard hitting, in your face opponents. If we have any chance to win, we need to pretty much bully Sid off his game. Malkin has been in a lengthy slump, but last time we played him, he really showed up and got something like 5 scoring chances.
This goes without saying, but Hank needs to bring his A game. And maybe get in Crosby's face again, because he hates confrontation also.

Lets go Rangers, anything short of 100% of effort will lose us the game

44.4 % - 2nd worst in NHL. Only Canes are worse than us, they sit on just over 40%

Probably not going to watch this one.

Watching the refs give Crosby a reach around while they blow the game pisses me off.

Nevertheless, LGR!

This is the type of game Avery can make a difference in. The crowd will be loud, emotions will be high, and hopefully Sean will be feeling particularly fiesty without stupid penalties.

Would also like to see Torts match lines with Dubinsky's line going up against Crysby. Dubi's got some real fire in him, would love to see him elevate his game for that matchup.

A point out of this game would be nice.
