I picked up like 72 after promoting last year.

I also got a huge arena expansion (~2000 more people!) from the looks of things, but I can't view the message for it due to some bug that was preventing me from seeing my draft picks as well.

My wage budget will finally get me outta flex too! I'll be at $43,988,801, a rise of 4m more than last year... if Val isn't in my conference. If he is, then it'll be $43,266,065.

Yeah, looks like Val is in the opposing conference, go ahead and mark the final between him and I on your calendars, lol.

I haven't gotten any messages yet, but I can see that I definitely won several...

Dohn;
Mart
Bearson
Voss
Maurice
Paul Smith

Longbotham;
Ding

Beef Cherky;
Halter

Haha. Dohn with 5 or more for the second straight season.

Damn, doesn't look like Val and I will face off during the regular season. Oh well.

Does it seem to anyone else that fan club and arena changes are a season behind? I won 3.5 2 seasons ago and didn't get a significant change to either, but this season I got 293 new fans and 535 new seats and 535 new standing places. I won my league again (without winning a single player award, oddly enough) so I didn't think much of it, but it seems like a lot of you got a delayed effect. I guess I'll have to see what I get next season as I can't exactly promote again.

With my new budgets, I'm at least $6 mil under my cap this year before cutting anyone. Looks like I'll have like $10 mil to spend in free agency. I have no idea what I'll even spend that on.

That's why I was saying that it would be better to wait until after Free Agency. But all the ****** coaches with ****** teams had a hissy fit at my suggestion. Which is funny because they ended up having to wait anyway.

Keep in mind that player wages are the final thing to be adjusted. I'm expecting a jump of about $1.5m or so, as long as Nik doesn't decide to **** us over some more.

Luckily, due to FA, I dont expect Nik to raise wages unless he wants to piss off MOST managers.

It's designed to be that way, for better or for worse.

The MVP of my league was a defenseman with 33 points or something. My player was the top scorer in the league with 63 points.

SSP? IDK...

SPP is the stars next to the name. I'm expecting Dohn to jump to 4 and get a lot more expensive this year, accounting for most of the rise in salaries on my team.

Just looked, actually, and Dohn is up to 3.5 stars.

The star points. Players get SSP when they are one of the 3 stars of the game, and enough points give players the star next to their names.

However, those players in turn require higher salaries. It's a balancing thing.

Yea our MVP was a defender with 46 points and a 6.04 raiting or something around there. All I know is I had 2 defenders with a better average and points. Thats on top of I had around 8-9 players with more points

Guys I may have to move some bodies if Nik the Knob decides to raise prices too high, I'll drop the list here for those who may be interested.

I just want to aviod RPO's this year in 2.1 - I have the best GK in the league and in the top 15 for other stats.

Cheers.

Oh and Dash, CNC and I in the same division is going to be hard. I expect Dash to be the guy to beat at the moment, and I think CNC will agree.

I have no idea. I thought I would struggle in 2.2 last year, so I'll leave the predictions to Jimmy Rollins. My defense is extremely weak compared to the rest of the league, but my goalie is probably in the upper half, so I should be sort of ok.

Also, my estimate of my free cash was way off. Forgot to add in the cost of all my new guys. Should still have a few million to spend once I cut the dead weight, though.

Bel Air.

In other news, wow, I'm looking at what I think is the updated salaries... Dohn over $6m, Brown at $5.5m, Morgan at $5.8m... I hope these numbers aren't final.

I disagree. I am currently 7+ million over budget for the second straight season.

Raul Kiplin went from making 5.8 million to 10.3 million in 1 season.

If I pick the lowest sponsor, I still have 7-8 mil in cap space lol.

Everyone on my team went down in wages. I saved about 5 mil.

You did check your current wages, right? Looks like Nik is gonna **** over his core userbase again, like a dumbass...

EDIT: Guess you just answered that... Well, I guess I'm gonna be in some **** if I need to cut ANOTHER $2m in salary.
